Hey Chloe...apparently your boyfriend Axl Rose did his civic duty this past week, and served on a jury. Wonder if it was a mad house around the court house with fans and groupies once the public found out? Article really doesn't say. However...sounds like Guns and Roses may be planning a reunion performance...just an FYI . :)

This week, Axl Rose (http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/SIG=12649t5ka/EXP=1327762814/**http%3A//www.rollingstone.com/music/artists/axl-rose)got off the "Nightrain" and did his civic duty by performing four days of jury duty in Santa Monica, California.
The Guns N' Roses (http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/SIG=12a3jnqgn/EXP=1327762814/**http%3A//www.rollingstone.com/music/artists/guns-n-roses) frontman spent four days participating in a civic trial, according to People (http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/SIG=12ctl29gi/EXP=1327762814/**http%3A//www.people.com/people/article/0,,20561264,00.html). His service, which ended Tuesday, came on the heels of the band's American tour, which wrapped last month.
"It was relatively painless," said Rose of his jury-duty stint. "I was fortunate that everyone in the courthouse and jurors were all really great, plus I got to see daylight from a different prospect."

Rose's schedule will resume its typical decadence soon: Guns N' Roses will be inaugurated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/SIG=14pebd47j/EXP=1327762814/**http%3A//www.rollingstone.com/music/news/guns-n-roses-beastie-boys-red-hot-chili-peppers-chosen-for-rock-and-roll-hall-of-fame-20111207) on April 14th at Cleveland's Public Hall. They are rumored to be considering a reunion performance with their original lineup.

His jury duty was for a civil trial. Having served on one...that's probably just what they needed to balance out the bleeding hearts that want to give away the farm too. :thumb:

I never get chosen. I cruise in with my rebel flag brush popper and a license tag-sized belt buckle on my Wranglers and for some unknown reason, I always get sent home.

See...I just need to work on this...it must be all in the presentation.

I always get picked...infact... I can pretty much guarantee, that when my 3 year time limit for jury duty has been reached...they will call me to serve again the very week it is over.

I've been called to Jury Duty once in my life, now I'm pretty much assured I never will again, unless it's federal court.

The one time I WAS called for jury duty, we showed up on the first day signed up and were told what days jury duty was and to listen to the radio to see if it had been cancelled for the day, then sent home. I never went in another day, no jury trials the entire time I was on.

Also, I remember being shocked at how many people didn't answer the summons. Probably about 20% of people didn't show up on that first day. Every single one was issued a bench warrant. Just dumb.

Yep...a lot of people don't show up at all,and of the ones that do...many have served multiple times. The judge from the last trial I participated in said that they used to call up jurors using only vehicle registration...now, they also use voter registration because they need more people to participate.

Yep, friend of my wife's used to refuse to vote because she didn't want to get called for jury duty, she got summoned anyway and was livid when my wife told her that Arkansas uses vehicle registration as well as voter registration rolls to draw a jury pool..

Refuse to take the oath. Somebody might notice. The oath in fact requires you to see things the court's way, not think for yourself.

Mention jury nullification. You'll be gone so quick you won't have to pay the day rate parking fee.

He's mellowed out with age.

My cousins friend who lives with him has 3 kids and Axl helped raise them in his house in Malibu, and she is Brazilian so he ain't that racist.
