Have we gone completely overboard? In the beginning there was just the yellow ribbon, to represent our desire to bring our troops home, if I recall correctly. Now there is a ribbon for just about everything.

My mom was making cancer awareness bracelets for a friend of hers to distribute and had me print out for her which colors represent which cancer. I was absolutely astounded at some of these.

I'd nominate a white ribbon tied to resemble a hangman's noose. :dev:

So flip the standard ones upside down and twist the ends. Excellent suggestion! :thumb:

Faith and determination ... those are red and yellow, right?

No, red is love and yellow is Victorian Bushfire Disaster 09, orange is feral cats, green is medical marijuana ...

I don't do ribbons anymore. I used to have one yellow one on my truck, and someone stole it while it was parked in my driveway.

How rude.

That's what you get for displaying your theft ribbon proudly.

Sounds good unless it's the same colors as the commo-nazi ribbon; Really hate those guys.

See - that's the thing. There are only so many colors. What if my ribbon for purity gets mistaken for cocaine addiction?

I got all kinds of "awareness" ribbons. You hung them on the wall in our bedroom. Each one cost me a piece of my heart and soul.

Other than that, they sell for about 95 cents at any surplus store.

I got a shitload of the hanging on your bedroom wall that say I'm all that. But don't I put my pants on one leg at a time in the morning?

Nice to have all this pillow talk on the board. At least we know who wears the pants in the family. Jess. :cheers2:
