Any links to what your talking about? Last I saw Paul was down well over 500 votes to Gingrich. That's a pretty big difference in a rather small caucus.

GOP still counting Nevada caucus results

By Cristina Silva
Associated Press

Published: Sunday, Feb. 5 2012 2:05 p.m. Mountain Standard Time

...LAS VEGAS — More than 24 hours after Nevada Republicans began gathering at schools and community centers across the state to choose their presidential nominee, the election results remain uncertain.

While most of the results were released hours after the Saturday morning contest, the results from the state's most populous county are still being tallied.
Clark County officials say they stayed up until the wee hours of Sunday morning counting ballots, but couldn't finish the task. Only 70 percent of all the votes had been counted, and an official turnout for Clark County had yet to be made public....
..The process, run mainly by volunteers, led to some voter complaints of disorganization and confusion. Each county had its own caucus rules and some voters were unaware that they could not walk in and out and vote, as in a primary, but had to arrive on time and sit through some debates on behalf of the candidates...

http://www.npr.org/blogs/itsallpolitics/2012/02/05/146415698/move-over-iowa-nevada-has-a-caucus-problem-too

..Most of the community meetings at more than 100 sites were held in the morning or early afternoon and had their tallies in by evening. But no official results were released for hours, and the official count went on well into the night. Why? There appeared to be delays from Washoe (Reno) County and a few other venues. But the main holdup was in Clark (Las Vegas) County, home to more than 60 percent of the Republican vote...
...It was delayed because scores of Ron Paul supporters showed up, and some balked at signing an affidavit saying they had to vote at night for religious reasons. Some walked away. Others stayed, signed and prevailed....

An 83-year-old man, Alan Kaplan, objected to a 29-year-old man – who objected to being required to sign a religious oath statement – being escorted out of the building by makeshift “bouncers,” including Assemblyman John Hambrick. “You want to take him out, take me out, too, you son of a bitch,” Kaplan yelled at Hambrick.
Later Kaplan told Spillman that he fought in Vietnam, but “I didn’t fight for assholes like that.”.

..Did anyone besides me witness the Nevada Caucus Google Count for Ron Paul go from 1,830 to 1,660?

This happened around 18:00 Hawaii Standard Time = 20:00 Pacific Standard Time. I am in Hilo Hawai'i and I was on a Skype call with my friend and fellow Freedomcaster, Leon Catlett, near Las Vegas, Nevada. I was reading the numbers to him when the Google site http://www.google.com/elections/ed/us/results/2012/gop-prima... (http://www.google.com/elections/ed/us/results/2012/gop-primary/nv) updated. I had just read Leon the number 1,830, and I was looking right at the screen when I SAW Ron Paul's numbers go from 1,830 to 1,660 when the precinct tally went from (approximately) 12% reporting to 15.1% reporting.
Did anyone else witnessed this? Or anything similar during the Nevada count, or at any other time this election season?//

I saw it go from over 2,000 (http://www.dailypaul.com/211295/nevada-rp-vote-count-moved-negative#comment-2204829) Submitted by Rebel (http://www.dailypaul.com/user/9593) on Sun, 02/05/2012 - 14:16.
I saw it go from over 2,000 votes to 1800 and then to 1600. I have tried to find a replay of results with no luck.

But, it has been reported that they are "throwing out precinct totals" because the sign-ins didn't match the vote totals in these precincts.
That could have been RP precincts that they threw out, and could correspond to what you saw happen to the total.
And it also could be the scheme which they use to skew the results the way they want them to turn out.....

Dave Gibbs, chairman of the county party, said there were some precincts that handed in more ballots than the number of Republicans listed on the sign-in sheets for those precincts. Party leaders were trying to resolve the discrepancies and determine whether to certify those questionable ballots as valid, he said. Gibbs said he couldn't estimate how many of Clark County's more than 1,000 precincts were affected but it was "a small number."..

With 70.4 percent of precincts reporting, the state party said Romney had 47.6 percent, Gingrich 22.6 percent, Paul 18.6 percent and Santorum 11.1 percent.

Why are people quibbling over a few votes when Romney's winning margin in Nevada was over 10,000?

Why are people quibbling over a few votes when Romney's winning margin in Nevada was over 10,000?

Because, Gingrich got 4 delegates as a result of being in 2nd, while Paul got 3 for 3rd. Reverse that is what would happen if Revelarts is on to something. That one delegate may put RP over the edge in the end!

Well just for the record , it looks like RON PAUL Won the delegate count in IOWA.
And Minnesota and is on his way to win Massachusetts if things keep going ok.
AND it seems he'll have won 5 states needed by the time of the convention.

just saying

How can he win Iowa? Didn't both Santorum and Romney finish ahead of him? And the same for the others? Or does this have something to do with Santorum dropping out?

Iowa - Santorum 25% Romney 25% Paul 21%
Minn - Santorum 45% Paul 27%
Mass - Romney 72% Santorum 12% Paul 10%

Where are you getting these figures?

Here is where I got mine - http://www.cnn.com/election/2012/primaries.html

Paul can claim all the states he wants. After Romney gets the GOP nomination, Paul can go home to Texas and explain to his constituents why he has spent several months making a fool of himself.

How can he win Iowa? l (http://www.cnn.com/election/2012/primaries.html)

it isn't that he won in Iowa, it's that now that Santorum dropped out, under caucus rules his delegates are free to vote for whoever they choose.....apparently Santorum's delegates from Iowa have pledged to Paul.....thus, instead of being 600 delegates behind, now he's only 593 delegates behind.....

He ran a campaign worth millions and continues to solicit funds, with the ultimate goal of strong arming a prominent speech at the convention. That's an awfully expensive bid in order to speak at the convention. I doubt it matters anyway as Romney will have enough delegates regardless.
