A Bank of America customer was the victim of identity theft. They cleaned her out to the tune of almot $70K, including a $23K overdraft. She filed a police report, reported it as identity theft, was a bit annoyed that a $23K overdraft could be racked up without her notification, and she gets a cold shoulder from the bank. But then, we come to the real problem Bank of America is suing her for the overdraft.

I bank with Wachovia. Never had a problem :dunno: The one time I had identity theft, they actually contacted me and let me know about it. Then they credited me the bogus charges and put an alert out on all my accounts. It was pretty awesome.
