We'd like to address personally to the President of the European Council Herman Achille Van Rompuy as to the head of the most important organization of free Europe ensuring supremacy of democracy, human rights and observance of all-European values, to the European Parliament and to all citizens of EU member states who are not indifferent to the destiny of a football forum taking place this year in Ukraine and Poland and being so much waited by football fans and supporters.
We ask all of you to unite the efforts to PREVENT POLITICAL GAMBLING, to enjoy this football show together with Ukraine and Poland, to unite around “fair play”.
Now there are less than 20 days before the final part of the European football championship. We have waited for it for 4 years. All Europe, in breathless suspense, is looking forward to the moment, when on green lawns the strongest national teams of the Old World will compete for championship, when in unprecedented duels stars of the European football will scramble. AllEuropeislookingforwardtobeautiful, spectaculargame.
Ukraine and Poland as the parties-organizers have made all for preparation of the final part of the championship. All is done for people: the infrastructure, hotels, stations and airports will be improved. Hundreds of thousands volunteers are passing training for comfortable stay of visitors-Europeans.
The European community has already appreciated efforts of both countries. It is confirmed by the fact that half a year before the beginning of the Championship all tickets for matches were bought. If expression of popular will is not enough for a number of the European politicians publicly calling for boycott of Euro-2012?!
Misters presidents! There are other fish in the sea than Julia Timoshenko. Russia has its own Hodarkovsky who will be in prison until Putin's retirement from the stage. France has Dominique Strauss-Kahn, and Berlusconi is not innocent. The EPP headed by mister Wilfried Achiel Emma Martens has snatched «Julia's plait» only because it is afraid to lose what was promised by disgraced prime minister.
Calling to boycott Ukraine, presidents of the EU countries, politicians and public figures motivate their actions by absence of democracy in the country. This is not the case! Come, and you'll see how much the world-view of Ukrainians has changed. Ukrainians – the peace nation with the richest traditions and a cultural heritage. Ukraine firmly goes on a way of the European values. You should not mix sports and policy, strafing millions of football fans. It was repeatedly declared by FIFA and UEFA officials.
The Euro 2012 in Ukraine and Poland will be! And a referee will judge us!
