Take a moment to remember and honor the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the USA. Their service was to defend the constitution of the United States and all of the freedoms we enjoy today. We're not a perfect country, but the greatness we enjoy is because of these men and women.

My daughter and I attended the Memorial Day celebration this morning at the Pier here in Huntington Beach, which was thoughtful and breathtaking in its splendor and beauty.
My dad's best friend, a decorated Viet Nam vet, has taken my daughter to another ceremony. Where she has been chosen to play piano and read a verse she wrote in school.
Her mom is extremely proud of this. :salute:
