This is Emma, the best $5 dog you ever met. She's a shelter rescue who's mostly Manchester terrier.
3498
This is Abigail. We adopted her with Emma. Emma was about a year old and Abby 8 weeks at the time. She is Emma's kitty for sure.
3501
This is Simon. About 17 pounds of furry love, just because V4R thinks every witch should have a black cat.
3500
This is Nelson. Cute and clingy but not the brightest light on the tree.
3502
And finally Pandora. Sixteen years old. Cranky.

BTW they all have formal names. Lady Emma Hamilton (because Lord Nelson's mistress was from Manchester), Abigail's Pastels on Canvas (because she's a pastel calico), Boris and Natasha's Simon Bar Sinister (just for fun), Lord Nelson's Victory At Sea (because V4R loves naval history) and finally Princess Pandora P. Pussycat of Pussywillow.

A very nice collection that you have there. I am not much for inside pets myself. I prefer my dogs outside and ready to hunt..-Tyr

I think it's a rule that witches have to have cats.

Actually I know at least a couple who have dogs as familiars.

There is a distinct difference between cats and dogs.

People own dogs.
Cats own people.

Dogs have masters.
Cats have slaves.

People own dogs for hunting.
No one can tell a cat what to do.

Some people train their dogs.
Most cats train their people.
