Los Angeles (CNN) -- Science fiction author Ray Bradbury, whose imagination yielded classic books such as "Fahrenheit 451," "The Martian Chronicles" and "Something Wicked This Way Comes," has died at 91, his publisher said Wednesday.
Bradbury was a writer of perils, possibilities and wonder (http://www.cnn.com/2012/06/06/opinion/seymour-bradbury/index.html)
Bradbury "died peacefully, last night, in Los Angeles, after a lengthy illness," HarperCollins said in a written statement.
Bradbury's books and 600 short stories predicted a variety of things, including the emergence of ATMs and live broadcasts of fugitive car chases.

Damn, loved all his stuff. We all gotta go and 91 isnt that bad. I'd sign for it right now myself!

Just from reading the quotes from this article attributed to him,makes me want to go out and buy his autobiography and read it. Sounds like a very interesting man...as well as a great writer.

I can't understand why it took so long for this to appear here.

Bradbury died June 5th. Today is June 28th.

Am I out of line here? Just wondering if anyone noticed that Japan attacked Pearl Harbor too!

I know. I found it by accident...when one of my friends liked it on facebook. Otherwise, I wouldn't have seen it at all. Not sure how I missed it either...I read news articles every morning. Must not have been posted very well on the news sites or something.
