I appreciate the evidence to the fact, but this nothing new to me. I knew JoePa acted to protect himself and the university--epic fail!

Oh this is nothing new to me either, I said this in the beginning about Joepa and was told by no less than a dozen or so here that I was full of shit and that the old man was a saint and did all that he could..............looks like I was right and that ol' Joepa wasn't as old school as he seemed.

Loved Joepa forever and he was only an assistant under Rip Engle when I started attending Penn State games. The emails released so far don't put him in a favorable light but the most damning to me is seeing for the past dozen years or so was that no one or anything was going to stop his goal of 409 wins to beat Robinson. No matter what it took to stay there long enough to do so!
