just returned from a vacation in Iowa visiting family.....

my brother in law has lost two dogs to coyotes in the last two weeks....

his neighbor discovered a pack of about 15 on his farm in his cornfield recently......he counted the skulls of 21 fawns around the den.....he's managed to kill three of them so far....

two weeks ago my brother lost his Jack Russel terrier......this week he got two more hoping that they would stick together and defend each other........one is already dead.....

the coyotes will be very difficult to eradicate until the corn is harvested.....

Hate them things. Some people have no idea how big they can get either. Wish i was there to hunt them down.

Had an aunt who lived in Scottsdale, AZ and lost two cats to coyotes. Moved back to New York.

We hear them frequently around our property in AZ, even see them in daylight wandering through the cactus. Our dogs always bark when they hear them and we don't let our dogs outside after dark without an armed escort.

Coyotes, part of nature. Saw one traipsing down my parents street last year, suburban SW MI.

Still have a bounty on them in Indiana... I think its like 7 dollars. Most think thay are just like a dog... They are mean and unpredictable when in packs.. Hear them ALL night long where we live....

Had problems with coyotes raiding my watermelon patch and annoying my fenced in dogs. I learned from an old farmer to sprinkle moth balls around the garden. Problem solved. Works on rabbits too. So instead of shooting the rabbits, we gave them all names. Terrence, Phillip, Hortensia and, Peter.
