While I am not surprised by this, I do like the reaction on Ms Schultz's face when asked her double standard

DWS is another example if not for their double standards - liberals would have no standards at all

Not only this but we also have this:

Dem. Chair Invested in Swiss Banks, Foreign Drug Companies, and the State Bank of India

Disclosure forms reveal that Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a member of Congress from Florida, previously held funds with investments in Swiss banks, foreign drug companies, and the state bank of India. This revelation comes mere days after the Democratic chair attacked presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for holding money in Swiss bank accounts in the past.

"Americans need to ask themselves, why does an American businessman need a Swiss bank account and secretive investments like that?" the DNC chair, a chief surrogate for President Obama's reelection team, said on Fox News Sunday two days ago. "Just something, a thought, that I'd like to leave folks with."

It's been a consistent theme of Obama's reelection strategy: Attack Romney for foreign investments he held, especially in Swiss bank accounts, "to try to promote his wealthy (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0712/78203.html), out-of-touch businessman persona."

But disclosure forms reveal that in 2010 (http://pfds.opensecrets.org/N00026106_2004.pdf), Wasserman Schultz invested between $1,001-$15,000 in a 401k retirement fund run by Davis Financial Fund. As the fund discloses (http://davisfunds.com/funds/financial_fund/), it is invested in the Julius Baer Group Ltd. and the State Bank of India GDR Ltd., as well as other financial, insurance, bank institutions.

19% of my 401K is invested in foreign funds, so I don't find it unusual.

I'm with SD. So? It's a US based fund.

To be clear, there is nothing in Debbie Wasserman Schultz's disclosure forms to suggest that the DNC chair invested in anything illegal. But it is clear that some of her holdings had investments overseas, in Swiss banks, foreign drug companies, the state bank of India, and many other overseas holdings.

The hypocrisy, though, is clear: The Democrats, as well as President Obama, hope to paint Romney as an out of touch man for holding money in overseas bank accounts, when in reality their own chairman, Wasserman Schultz, had overseas investments.

Other than more time being wasted on distractions than problems in Washington, NO! Unless of course you believe talking about a high of 15k in a 401K (legaly & previously) is even worth talking about? As I pointed out earlier, I currently have 19% of my 401k invested in foreign funds, also have stock in a Swiss pharma company, in fact the Swiss employed me for 23 years, a French pharma co. 2 years, and a Dutch Life Sciences Co. for the past few years. The world is a small place for funds to travel in these days.

I just wish I could have a $100 mill in my IRA's like Mitt. But alas, I'm limited to $6k per year by the IRA. Well that and how many lietimes it would take me to save that much!

What I always find so Dishonest about Debby W. is her absolute Hypocrisy, almost every time I've nearly been caused to puke...her voice does that to me.

Look at how She, and the Other Illiterate, Dummies from the Left who call themselves Democrats scream, and holler about Romney...having OFFSHORE funds. While they look you in the eye, and Lie about their own Fortunes and Evasion of Taxes.

Anyone remember how JOHN (Vietnam Hero) Kerry moved his HUGE BOAT from Mass. to avoid paying Property taxes?
He has 57 Varieties of Lies he sold to Obama, who also got his number of States wrong the HEINZ way.

There's a world of difference between holding an American fund that has made overseas investments (for God's sake we should all have that for the sake of diversification) and holding money in an overseas account. Surely you can see that. I have no problem with Romney doing so but that doesn't mean people are not going to rail against it.

It is a distraction. I do not know any Obama supporter who wants to talk about the #1 issue on this election which is ths Obama economy

Libs are having to find something to talk about and they decided to zero in on Mit's wealth

Of course wealth is never an issue with a Dem (like John Kerry in 2008)

And if you were a savy businessmen like Mitt SD perhaps you could have $100 mill in your IRA

There is also a wolrd of difference when someone has a "D" at the end of her name and he has an "R" at the end of his name

One gets a pass and the other is attacked
