A transcript of Voight’s letter has been provided by NewsBusters…

From Noel Sheppard, NewsBusters: Jon Voight: America Witnessing Greatest Lie Cleverly Orchestrated By Obama:

“In one year, the American people are witnessing the greatest lie that is cleverly orchestrated by President Obama and his whole administration,” he wrote.

“The lie is a potent aggression that feeds the needs of people who either have not educated themselves enough to understand the assault upon us all or the very poor and needy who live to be taken care of.

“In one year, the American people are witnessing the greatest lie that is cleverly orchestrated by President Obama and his whole administration. The lie is a potent aggression that feeds the needs of people who either have not educated themselves enough to understand the assault upon us all or the very poor and needy who live to be taken care of.

“President Obama feeds these people poison, giving them the idea that they are entitled to take from the wealthier who have lived and worked in a democracy that understands that capitalism is the only truth that keeps a nation healthy and fed. Now the lie goes very deep and President Obama has been cleverly trained in the Alinsky method and it would be very important that every American knows what that method is.

“It is a socialistic, Marxist teaching and with it, little by little, he rapes this nation, taking down our defenses, making new language for the Islamic extremists. The world looked up to us as a symbol of hope and prosperity now wonders what will become of the entire world if America is losing its power.
“The American people who understand exactly what is taking place have come together in the thousands, vowing to try to stay together as a unit of love and freedom for all men and women, from all walks of life, shivering to think that this once great nation will be a third world country.

“This will be the first president to ever weaken the United States of America. President Obama uses his aggression and arrogance for his own agenda, against the will of the American people when he should be using his will and aggression against our enemies.

“Every loving American for peace and truth and the security of our nation must come out and join the Tea Parties in their states. The opposition will continue their tactics; they will lie and plant their own bullies amongst us. Everyone must pay close attention to who stands next to them. We can weed out the liars and agitators.

“Let us all stay in God’s light. Let no man put asunder. We can and we will prevail. God bless us all!”

First of all, Jon Voight hasn't been relevant for two decades.
Second, why the heck are you posting something from more than two years ago? Falling behind of your attack post quota maybe?

Well, we have lots of threads about the COTUS, and it's been quite awhile on that one. It would make more sense to critique or dispute what Voight said as opposed to just dismissing it.

What quota? Say , do you have attack post quota's?
Jon Voight is and was right. Obama is a traitor by every definition of the word IMHO.
I'LL POST SUCH PATRIOTIC SPEECH IF I CHOOSE TO. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT AND I KNOW YOU DONT LIKE IT, ALL THE BETTER.
From two years ago and even more relevant today because it points to the little dictator and his agenda.
Don't you have some muslim/lefty hate site to be visiting instead of attempting to control what other members post here?-Tyr

Carter hasn't been relevant for three decades yet he keeps talking. :slap: I do expect a Gary Sinise piece though.

My response was part of the topic. And if stupidity is patriotic, then be my guest and post it.

Jimmy Carter has never been relevant. Even when he was president, he wasn't relevant.

TRANSLATION:

I can't refute what Voight said, but I hate it anyway, so I'll make up some vague, unsubstantiated accusation against him and hope it convinces people that he's the one who's wrong instead of me.

Then I'll attack the messenger, complain about irrelevant things, and generally try to get him to quit discussing the things he brought up.

What is there to refute? It's a man's opinion.
I said many of the same things about Dubya when he was in office. For which I was labeled as an unpatriotic Bush hater who didn't support the
troops.

That sound you all just heard was little gabby backpedalling away from her attempted attack on Voight's essay, so fast that the wheels on her tricycle are smoking.

Jon Voight stated quite nicely exactly what many of us think and sincerely believe.
America is for Americans that cherish the land, the culture and the sacrifice of millions that saved our rights because of the blood , sweat, tears and treasure that they shed..
That one's race , religion , wealth, fame or career is not as important as is one's true love of Liberty!
None have that Love of Liberty that deny man's right to security of property, right to pursue happiness and care safely for his family while speaking as freely as water pours from the sky on a rainy day!!
And to know and understand ALL OF THAT has one source= A TRUE AND JUST God.
With Liberty insured by the greatest document ever created by man- our Constitution..
May God bless us because we face a great test. The measure of a man shall soon be known by the principles that he holds dear, does not break and will fight for same as if they were life itself. For they are and will be for him and his family soon enough. This I believe and will not abandone come hell or high water.-Tyr

I sent a suggestion to Romney's campaign people that Romney read and comment on Jon Voight's published letter..
Even do so at his campaign stops and especially when his words will be televised. This for him to better connect with conservatives and show the AMERICAN PEOPLE that he agrees with our ideals about Liberty and Freedom..-Tyr

We should all be thanking those like Gabby for showing us, and proving to us. How everything most all of us have been convinced to believe about Liberals is Absolutely, Positively...Correct.
And all it took was a letter from Jon Voight to prove it.
