What a dumbass. You can give these guys all the money in the world to play sports, but you can't teach them class and decency. This idiot was on the edge of retirement as it was, playing for the Patriots last year and being rarely used. The Miami Dolphins sign him to a one year contract for about a cool $1 million dollars. He has all kinds of financial issues, so this would be an opportunity to help with bills and get back on the saddle.
Then him and his wife hope in the car to go out. She finds a receipt in the car and on that receipt it shows he purchased some condoms. Apparently, and obviously, some words went back and forth. Then he does the unimaginable and headbutts his own wife, leaving her with a 3 inch gash in her forehead, and flees like a chump.
Ends up in jail overnight and gets out on bond. The Dolphins coach and executives call him in - and release him from his contract.
I hope no other teams lower themselves to think about picking this guy up. Let him retire now as a wife beater.
