A University of Colorado (CU) analysis of the 2012 U.S. Presidential Election predicts that Mitt Romney will win the election in November. The model used for the prediction is one that has correctly predicted all presidential elections since 1980, including George W. Bush losing the popular vote but still winning the election in 2000. [Details Here (http://www.colorado.edu/news/releases/2012/08/22/analysis-election-factors-points-romney-win-university-colorado-study-says)]
“For the last eight presidential elections, this model has correctly predicted the winner,” said Michael Berry, political science professor at CU. “The economy has seen some improvement since President Obama took office. What remains to be seen is whether voters will consider the economy in relative or absolute terms. If it’s the former, the president may receive credit for the economy’s trajectory and win a second term. In the latter case, Romney should pick up a number of states Obama won in 2008.”

I suppose that some would enjoy that but from the looks of things not as much as Muslims enjoy dying for Islam. I am speculating that the body count for Islam is right up there with the Holocaust, Stalin's purge, and any other mass genocide event you care to mention.

Who wants a weather forecast from a girl wrapped up in a jacket and a skirt down to her ankles?

Now this on the other hand...

This is what your little jihadist heart craves, and yet you would deny it to us.

I was going to say similarly... A Muslim pointing out a perceived problem in voting in someone who he thinks might involve us in a war. Look at current Muslim leaders and all the past ones in the last century! "IF" and that's a HUGE if, if Muslim leaders came to the table with the rest of the world, and worked with everyone, and acted in a civilized manner, probably over 90% of the aggressions wouldn't exist. Some can accuse the USA of involving ourselves in various aggressions/fights/hostilities, but if this crap didn't exist, and they acted like human beings, the US wouldn't have anything to get involved in.

Lastly, Jafar should learn more about the US before piping in. History shows us that there's more of a likelihood of US aggression when a Democrat is in office. A President, or someone running, who is friendly to Israel, doesn't mean war is imminent. Besides, this is all perception. He would rather a man who is currently threatening intervention in an Islamic country if they do nothing more than maneuver their weapons around.

Let me start by stating emphatically that I respect Jafar and Abso both for posting so prolifically on this board. It takes a certain amount of courage and conviction to come here and post as they do. They tend to remain civil in their discourse, which cannot be said for other posters all the time.

That being said, it is my opinion that being courageous and convinced does not make one right. Muslims can say whatever they like; others do not have to accept what they say as truth. The problem is that SOME (not a quantitive expression, Jafar, and does not imply a majority either!) Muslims have expressed the desire and willingness to kill others if they do not only believe but also fail to embrace their belief. There is where I draw the line. I have an opinion of Arabs in general and Muslims specifically which COULD be changed if presented with real facts and logic. So far, that has not occured.

Q: Which side will win? A: The side that gets off their duff and makes it happen. If "the Distinguished Gentleman from Chicago" has taught us anything: "Hope" doesn't cut it.
