So yesterday I got my bi-annual hair cut in Abe's barn and at the hands of Joe and his horse clippers. Word of the event went out via e-mail notices, texts and twitters. The crowd gathered for the ceremony. As the little birdies gathered and waited impatiently in the trees for their chance to snatch my lucious folicles to line their nests, a hush fell over the crowd. As the silken strands began to fall, a lightening bolt from the cloudless sky shattered the silence signaling a higher approval. When the deed was done we scattered the offerings in the pasture, that part of me could return to the earth from whence it came, we raised our glasses in a reverent toast and all was good with the world.

After that we all got pretty drunk and had skidsteer races around Abes barn. :thumb:

I am sure that getting "pretty drunk' was called for after getting your head wacked on with a pair of horse clippers in a barn. Myself, I'd have to get drunk before the majestic event.-;)-Tyr

I can see your point on that. When a young man drinking good whiskey and chasing/catching wild women was fun. Now after givin that up, its kinda petered down to avoiding traffic tickets, doing yardwork and paying bills on time. Ain't life just great?;)-TZS
