Some will say when a dog passes on. Watch this video, and tell me if you think these heroes returning from their service would agree...

I have seen most of the segments in the video at one time or another but all together the effect is amazing. No one who has had the devotion of a dog ever thinks of it as 'just' anything. Our Emma gave us this reception instantly at the shelter the day we met her, as if she had always known us. Our pets love us in a way humans rarely can - unconditionally, constantly, and with their whole being. It is a pity that too many people never acknowledge this. I can never ignore it. I also just had the thought that if the rest of us welcomed our men and women in the service with the same regard as these dogs, there would be a lot fewer veteran's in need of assistance now.
