Just an example of government wanting to make sure eveybody knows that living off the land will not be tolerated.
That a man will not be allowed to find or supplement his food by killing game, game laws are there to make government money and control people's behaviour!
When I was very young , many people liiving/working on farms supplemented their food supply by trapping or shooting game to eat, especially during the winter months. Deer , venison is mighty tasty and a fine source of protein. Dove, Quail , Duck and other game birds are too. -Tyr

Holy crap. I have huge windows at my house and no less than once a month a bird does itself in. Add to that doves nest all around my house and have the worst nests ever-- atleast 4-5 young fall out each spring. I just throw them in the trash, but from now on I'm totally gonna call f&g every time. Stupid. Note to self-- don't post evidence of illegal activities.

Do it for every bird. When it turns out to be a sparrow, you say, "well I'm no wildlife expert"! :laugh2:

Also be sure to call F&G if you see another animal hunting without a license.
