Veteran's day brag

My daughter attended a veteran's day rally last year with my dad's best friend (a decorated Viet Nam vet) and gave a short speech. The post was so impressed that they invited her to speak again on Sunday. She has worked very hard on what she will say and also learned "America The Beautiful" on piano to accompany a vocalist.

Mom is quite proud of this. :salute:

Very cool, Gabby's daughter! And her parents for bringing her there.

My husband played taps at an assisted living facility's Veteran's Day program. They honored the veterans (all WWII) living there by name. It was so touching.
