Jewish voters supported Obama 2 to 1. They are the ones most affected by his Middle East policy. Obama apparently has it right on Middle East policy. When the Muslim and Jew agree, you have consensus. As long as we don't see attacks on our own soil, why not just let Obama do what he wants? The American Jewish voter has spoken.

Good point, really.

Romney's shameless pandering to foreign Israeli funders right in Jerusalem shocked me a lot, and it was clear he was willing to be bought and sold to Israeli interests.

And yet, Romney did not get the Jewish vote.

So I guess I agree with you: if Jews want the Obama Mideast, hey, whatever. We need to stop Oyveh-ing about how Obama isn't supporting Israel. It's basically their circus, their monkeys and no business of ours. They voted for Obama, so no use worrying about them anymore.

"LET THEM EAT CAKE!" Those Jewish voters may be here in the USA. But perhaps. Someone should ask the Jewish people living in Israel if THEY would have supported Obama with their votes.

There's a huge difference between being made comfortable, and wealthy under an Obama, or under the daily Rocket showers from GAZA.

Not to mention that they often are the 1%. No hypocrite quite like a limousine liberal.
Pretty galling, isn't it?

Anecdotal, but on topic. Romney gained, rather Obama lost a significant percentage of Jewish vote.

...Yet Obama's support from Florida Jewish voters fell from 2008, when various estimates put his total at 74 percent to 78 percent.

"It eroded a little bit," said Kathryn DePalo, a political scientist at Florida International University. "I don't see a wholesale switch for Jewish voters to run away from the Democratic Party."

Sid Dinerstein, chairman of the Palm Beach County (http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/palmbeach/) Republican Party, said getting about three in 10 Jewish voters to pick Mitt Romney was good — but not what he had hoped for...

http://www.therightperspective.org/2012/11/11/obama-loses-ground-with-jewish-voters/

...While President Obama still won the vast majority of the Jewish-American vote, the 70-percent he secured was down sharply from 2008, when he won the group by 78-percent.

The numbers, confirmed by both the Republican Jewish Coalition (http://www.rjchq.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/NATJEWTAB.pdf) and the left-leaning J Street (https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.jstreet.org/images/National_election_night_crosstabs.pdf), also show Republican challenger Mitt Romney won 30-percent of the Jewish vote, an increase from the 21-percent Arizona Senator John McCain scored in 2008. That continues a steady increase from 1992, when President George H.W. Bush won only 11-percent of the Jewish vote (http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/US-Israel/jewvote.html).
Ari Fleischer, an adviser to the Republican Jewish Coalition, told the Wall Street Journal (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324073504578107421534791646.html) that he was encouraged by Romney’s increase among Jewish-American voters...

Why does it matter what way the Jews of Israel would vote anyway? They are are not US citizens.

If the rest of the world had a vote, you would probably have ended up with Ron Paul as President :)

You should be happy. As far as the US Jewish voter is concerned Ahmadinejad can annex Israel.

I would get much the same reaction from my Jewish friends. :)

I don't think his plans include annexation, but your friends likely would be happy all the same.

The article in the OP was about Jewish voters here in the US, not in Israel. You might want to actually read before you comment.

jafar. "Ask the Jewish people living in Israel.. IF THEY WOULD HAVE VOTED" not as you so lamely insisted.

Comprehension, or only understanding what you want to interpret, for your own benefit,. Just doesn't cut it here.
