MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Manchester police say they found a woman passed out in a car Friday at a local shopping plaza. It's alleged she had taken cocaine.

Store employees became concerned when they saw the woman sitting in the car when temperatures reached above ninety degrees. Police found Jessica Wilson, 30, in the car with her 8-month-old baby.

Investigators said they also found traces of cocaine in the baby's blood streem.

Manchester police Capt. Richard Tracey said, "In fact, they believe the child's body temperature had risen to 102 degrees."

Officials said the baby is fine and is now in protective custody.

Police said they found cocaine in the car, along with drug paraphernalia.

The air conditioner was on, but apparently was not working.

Wilson was charged with child endangerment and drug charges. Police said she may face more charges.

What the hell? This is crap. She got off light. How can you do that to an 8 month old? How in the hell does a baby get cocaine in it's blood stream with the mother giving it to him/her. 102 degrees? That is very bad for the baby, stories like this make me sick, if she gave the baby cocaine she should be charged with attempted murder because cocaine for a baby is extremly lethal.
