Suppose these individuals WERE in Egypt, or in a place where they could be held. They would KILL someone over a film? And not just animals in the streets, but we're talking leaders and courts now. THIS is why I always go on about Islamic laws and Sharia law, it's retarded, barbaric and just stupid. Many Muslims are tired of being scoffed at due to the title "religion of peace"...

CAIRO (AP) -- An Egyptian court convicted in absentia Wednesday seven Egyptian Coptic Christians and a Florida-based American pastor, sentencing them to death on charges linked to an anti-Islam film that had sparked riots in parts of the Muslim world.

The case was seen as largely symbolic because the defendants, most of whom live in the United States, are all outside Egypt and are thus unlikely to ever face the verdict. The charges were issued in September amid a wave of public outrage in Egypt over the amateur film, which was produced by an Egyptian-American Copt.

The low-budget "Innocence of Muslims," parts of which were made available online, portrays the Prophet Muhammad as a fraud, womanizer and buffoon.

Egypt's official news agency said the court found the defendants guilty of harming national unity, insulting and publicly attacking Islam, and spreading false information - charges that carry the death sentence.

This can't possibly be right. After all, Jafar assured us that Sharia law doesn't apply to non-Muslims.

This is exactly what the 'jafar's of the Sick World want to see take place UNDER SHARIA LAW, here in the USA. Jafar is a phony. So, like our Pretend President who also promised Flooded Out home victims in New Jersey to TRUST HIM. Jafar is just an Obama Impersonator.

The destruction of the USA is all jafar, and Obama want, and need to see happen.

Take note. Jafar says he is in Australia. Down Under. So, like our idiot Liberals here in the USA. Jafar just spouts lies, and makes up more lies to divide us...FROM AFAR, as in OZ.

Jafar has no intention of answering any questions. He is just like that bully in school who makes MUDBALLS, hides behind tree's, and waits until the first target arrives..then he fires the MUDBALLS...and away goes his BRAIN.

Do you recall that old ad on TV?

REACH OUT AND TOUCH SOMEONE?

These days, they can simply show up in Florida to execute that pastor, etc.

And he'll now say that this isn't "sharia law" but rather some crazy egyptian law not rooted in Islam. Or he'll say he never said that. Or some other excuse.

Convicted to death In absentia, that's lame. Although, is that really any different than targeting known terrorists, who've had no trial, with drone attacks? Any thoughts?

I guess if those folks get armed drones, that can get through US airspace, those 8 should be very concerned.

I think there's a huge difference between killing a known terrorist and killing a person who made a film. Killing to save lives and killing because one is insulted is a pretty big difference.

logroller. In case you haven't noticed. Our troops in Afghanistan, and our President who authorized the use of Drones to get Terrorists. Never have to worry about capturing those terrorists if THEY ARE DEAD.

Sounds like you would prefer WE...Our Troops, and Obama...gather up all of the BAD GUYS, put them on planes, and bring them back to the U.S.A. for Court Trials.

Is that sounding like something SMART PEOPLE would do?
