88 years is a long life. With that said, I do not grieve a bit because as a politician he was was a sorry piece of scum!! My opinion and comment is good riddance to bad garbage. -Tyr

Sad for his family. As for him. This is all I have, or want to say about the man who helped destroy his own state.........

He fought for America in combat in WWII and was given the Medal of Honor.

I know that any bad things he did in congress are hard to forget and forgive.

But the dead can't bear any punishment by posters. We can whine a lot.

I would hate to be trashed for the acts of any poster but myself so why don't we at least RIP Dan who had to have done some good things.

^^^^^ I admit it would have been better had I taken that stand myself.
I HUMBLY and SINCERELY do so now after being reminded of his service (TY). RIP :salute:

Personally. I am still convinced I said enough. Sometimes it's better to say nothing. It often has more effect.

We need to rebuild civility in our nation. If we can't honor a man who served his country, even if we disagree with some aspects of his service, are we still a civilized people? Where we have no civility, how an we have civilization?

nothing specific about Inouyue but why do we have congressmen who are 88.....here in Michigan one of our local judges couldn't run again because he was 70 years old and the law required him to retire......perhaps the country would be in less of a mess if we did the same in Washington......
