Is nothing 'private' anymore?

Is my vibrator ruining my relationship? (http://www.salon.com/2012/12/29/is_my_vibrator_ruining_my_relationship/) I thought my boyfriend would be amused when I ordered another sex toy. Apparently, it was one too many By Rachel Kramer Bussel (http://www.salon.com/writer/rachel_kramer_bussel/)

Either way, I'm with Kath, I don't want to be reading about someone's sex life with or without sex toys.

Not saying differently, just why post for the whole world to see? Reminds me of commercials that shouldn't be on air.

Kathianne. An honest answer to your question must be 'NO!'

It comes with little, or no morals. Invasions of privacy used to harrass, and destroy others. And the Proving Grounds for the Loss of Privacy has become THIS MEDIUM....what we all know to be the Internet.

Sites like FACEBOOK have destroyed, what most would say is...."All that used to be holy, or private."

We, as a society no longer have the common courtesy to speak face to face, or privately anymore. That's why our nation, and the world in general has become a CESSPOOL of ignorance, stupidity, intolerance, and Illiteracy designed to destroy others with words, pictures, and lies.

I hear you, but am sort of confused regarding the op, which had zero to do with facebook and such. Just a post on sex toys and her 'boyfriend's possible problem.' Why?

The answer is, no, nothing is private anymore. Although many of the same people who think nothing of discussing their most intimate sexual experiences, would like it if your religious beliefs were put into a vault.

Kathianne. I just described what I felt was the cause of TOO MUCH INFORMATION, which just happens to include sex toys, and lower morals. Because I mentioned Facebook as I did. I saw as another avenue being used by more people to DISCLOSE their own private thoughts, photo's, and personal information which....ALL LEAD TOWARD THE SAME LACK OF PRIVACY.

...sort of like saying the GUN kills the person.

Facebook cannot do anything. We - our society - destroy ourselves. Facebook gives us the gun; if you will. Our insecurities and depravity are the bullets. Our lack of connection with a Higher Power/sense of purpose pulls the trigger.
