Most of what politicians do is spend the public's money, so those who vote for them and take more than they give have a conflict of interest. It is therefore ethical to require that to be eligible to vote, one must be taxed more than he receives. "Takers" should not be allowed to vote.

An no, those on retirement Social Security are not on the file, since they paid into the system while working. That is, if they did in fact work.

My personal thought is anyone who has collected welfare for more than one calender year of the previous four should be ineligible to vote.

That way you don't take the vote from some who just needed TEMPORARY assistance. Greater than 25% of the time is not temporary

glock. All true. But the problem still remains. People like us are terribly outnumbered by the Less-educated, easily-led, always dependent Americans who are not now, and never will be personally responsible for their own LIFE.
