WASHINGTON (Associated Press) --In a setback for President Barack Obama, a federal appeals court ruled Friday that he violated the Constitution in making recess appointments last year, a decision that could severely curtail the president's ability to bypass the Senate to fill administration vacancies.
The three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit said Obama did not have the power to make three recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board because the Senate was officially in session _ and not in recess _ at the time. If the decision stands, it could invalidate hundreds of board decisions made over the past year.
The court also ruled that the president could only make recess appointments if the openings arise when the Senate is in an official recess, which it defined as the once-a-year break between sessions of Congress.

you don't have to be a mod to request that a thread be moved RSR. I suspect you knew that though.

Oh, and requesting a thread merge isn't bossing anyone around, I suspect you knew that to.

Tyr. Court decisions, or Judges mean nothing to Obama. He's got the A.G. Holder running the Justice Department. So...nothing stands in his way. He can have the judges fired, or the decisions reversed by other, more Liberal courts.

Since he's such a great PRETENDER. I suspect he will just PRETEND there was no court decision, and continue as before.
After an unreasonable time. I also suspect. He will attempt to use another Executive Order to override everything else...like the Constitution. And we all know. The Constitution no longer stands in Obama's way when it comes to BREAKING THE RULES, and LAWS.

I think your opening post was the ONLY post in this thread to be on topic. 99% of it is fighting and deserving of the cage. Had this not been a duplicate thread, I would have moved the posts and left your thread intact.
