I will bet he cheated on or dumped her. Some females down there are really clingy, being ultra obedient when dating and go nuts if the guy wants out. I already told you my wife broke up a fist fight our neighbor was involved in. You confuse violence with independence. My mother-in-law doesn't think it's a woman's place to drive a car, but did so when my son was sick during a visit and my wife hadn't learned to drive yet. Don't confuse can't with won't.
