The spin in the liberal media should fun to read and watch

Chris Matthews should be slobbering more then usual tonight :laugh2:

Former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. has signed a plea deal regarding the inappropriate use of official funds, Fox News has learned.

Details of the deal are unclear, but Fox News has learned that it also pertains to a "social acquaintance" of the former Illinois Democratic congressman.
The Chicago Sun-Times (http://www.suntimes.com/18059047-761/sneed-exclusive-jesse-jackson-jr-plea-deal-on-table-includes-significant-jail-time-source-says.html)http://global.fncstatic.com/static/v/all/img/external-link.png reports that the deal -- at least one being considered earlier in the week -- includes "significant jail time."

Jackson resigned last November shortly after being reelected to the House. The son of civil rights leader Jesse Jackson Sr. had been treated for bipolar disorder, but also has been the subject of an ongoing federal investigation over campaign funds.

The Sun-Times reported that the probe has split into two separate investigations, with one into Jackson's wife Sandi. Sandi recently resigned as a Chicago city alderman.

The confirmation of a plea deal marks another blow for a public figure who was once considered a rising star.
Jesse Jackson Jr. first took office in 1995 after winning a special election and began his career in Washington with a star power and pedigree that set him apart from his hundreds of other House colleagues.

I expect nothing to be said by liberal media. From the onset he was their darling. It's huge here in IL, but doubt it will go BIG nationally.

Now another BIG story here, his wife's problems (http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/report-feds-looking-at-sandi-jacksons-finances-too), (I don't know if he bought her a Rolex or not).

The federal probe into the finances of former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL) has spawned a separate investigation into the finances of his wife, former Chicago Ald. Sandi Jackson, The Chicago Sun-Times reported (http://www.suntimes.com/18014137-761/feds-now-conducting-separate-investigation-of-former-ald-sandi-jackson-sources-say.html) on Monday.
From the Sun-Times:

Included in the scrutiny of Sandi Jackson, who resigned from her 7th Ward aldermanic position last month, is her access and use of her husband’s congressional campaign money, including credit card charges, as well as the movement of money from one account to another, sources say.

According to the paper, a decision could be made in Jackson Jr.'s case within a month. It is unclear how or if the Sandi Jackson investigation would affect the timing of the negotiations in her husband's case.

“They are trying to sort it out right now and trying to figure out exactly what to do with her,” a source told the paper.

Seems whenever a lib get caught with his hand in the cookie jar the liberal media tries to ignore the story

When they run a story on it, you seldom see the word "Democrat" anywhere in the story

I am sure once this snow storm goes away the liberal media will run a tear jerker story on Jesse's suffering, how racist went after him for political reasons, and how the people in his district is losing a warrior who only wants to help the poor and down trodden
