A Brooklyn police boss who had been using social media to hunt down gangbangers became a target himself when a thug ordered a hit on him using his precinct’s own Facebook page, The Post has learned.

Deputy Inspector Joseph Gulotta, the innovative commanding officer of Brownsville’s 73rd Precinct, was marked for death in an online threat that described his vehicle and the times that he punches in and out of work.

Gulotta filed a police report (http://www.debatepolicy.com/#) after reading the chilling post, which has since been taken down.Police brass are taking the threat seriously, and detectives are hunting for the computer (http://www.debatepolicy.com/#) menace. Cops are worried the poster could be influential enough to make the threat a reality.

“If the guy who made the threat is powerful enough and everybody in the neighborhood holds him in great stature, then somebody might carry out the hit,” a law-enforcement source said. “He’ll end up in jail for the rest of his life, though.”

Police are investigating whether the poster is a member of OccFam, an offshoot of the Crips street gang, a law-enforcement source said.

Yeah, but those guys were at least businessmen about it.

These kids today just use violence for the sake of using violence.

It's funny; government gives the food, housing, and medical care, all for free. So they have the whole day to themselves to figure out who to shoot.

Brooklyn eh? Too bad it was not in Chicago. If in Chicago the Mayor could call up his good friend obama and have him just drone strike the gangbanger. Or will they just save that for political opponents(patriots) in the future?-Tyr

Drone Strike the Offender in Chicago? Never happen...

Obama would want to keep that vote alive and voting...!!

Of course in Chicago the dead are a large voting block... so it might not make a difference.

More dead voters= a win for dems..
Live voters get to choose while dead voters always vote dem, funny how that works but its true.
So a drone strike creates a few more dead voters by way of collateral damage = more certified new dem votes.--Tyr
