<section style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; box-sizing: border-box;">ARLINGTON, Texas (http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?form=MSNNDL&q=Arlington,%20Texas,%20United%20States) — Thousands are expected to attend a public memorial service Monday for former Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle, who was killed at a Texas shooting range, allegedly by a young veteran he was trying to help.
Mourners will gather at Cowboys Stadium to pay tribute to the 38-year-old who was reputed to be the deadliest sniper in American military history.
Kyle left the Navy in 2009 after four tours of duty in Iraq and wrote the best-selling book "American Sniper."

25-year-old Iraq War veteran Eddie Ray Routh has been charged with killing Kyle and his friend Chad Littlefield at a gun range Feb. 2.
Kyle will be buried at the Texas State Cemetery in Austin after a 200-mile funeral procession starting in the Dallas area Tuesday morning.

A damn crying shame that those two good men died such a senseless and tragic death.. Kyle funeral today will be at the Cowboys Stadium I believe . A fine man gone far too soon.
God bless him , his family and friends.-- :flyflag:-Tyr

I wish I could be there, just to give him a quick salute for the years, and bravery, he gave to our country. RIP Soldier :salute:

Tyr. I know you meant well. But, I would remove the photo of the shooter who took SNIPER'S life.

More of a tribute, in my opinion.

Wish I could have been there too!

Guy was being helped by the two men he murdered. They saw merit in his life and tried to help him. Obviously he was ffed up from his time in combat. Not going soft or anything like it but he too is a victim. They both seemed to think he was and that was why they tried to help him.
A tragedy all the way around my friend. -Tyr

Agreed! Didn't mean to take anything away from your intent.

I sure thought many more here would have posted something in honor of the two men that died.
The American sniper 's reputation of service and honor goes without blemish.
Three replies on a forum with so many ex-military seems small acknowledgement to me..-Tyr

Some of us are stunned and grieving about losing one of our warriors ..... and need space and time before replying ... does not mean disrespect.

Obama had flags flown at half mast for Whitney Houston but has done nothing for this brave man that served his nation so well!
This and obama is CIC of the military!
Certainly points to where his true support is IMHO!!! -Tyr

Tyr. The last three years, here in the area where I live has been dreadful, and seemingly, constantly sad for all of us. This area has lost more than a Dozen Navy Seal members, retired, and active.
Their families live here. They lived here when not serving their nation.

Sometimes, the biggest way of showing respect comes from the SILENCE, TEARS, and HONOR all of those who have fallen...Earned.
