On the court's website, it identifies the status of Docket 12A606:

Title: Edward Noonan, et al., Applicants v. Deborah Bowen, California Secretary of State Application (12A606) for a stay, submitted to Justice Kennedy. Application (12A606) denied by Justice Kennedy. Application (12A606) refiled and submitted to The Chief Justice.

Noonan's supplemental brief claims that Obama is "[a] citizen of Indonesia, as listed in his school registration #203 from Franciscan Assisi school in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a citizen of Indonesia Obama was never eligible and never legitimate for the U.S. Presidency."

Noonan et al provides other arguments:

1. "Obama is using last name not legally his. Plaintiffs provided this court with the passport records of Stanley Ann Dunham, deceased mother of Barack Obama, showing that he is listed under the last name Soebarkah in her passport. He was removed from her passport in August of 1969 pursuant to the request and sworn statement of Ms. Dunham and signed by the U.S. consul in Jakarta Indonesia." 2. "Obama's 2009 tax returns posted by Obama himself [online] showed him using a CT Social Security number xxx-xx-4425, which failed both E-verify and SSNVS."

Additional evidence includes an affidavit by debt collector Albert Hendershot. When conducting a background check on Obama's social security number (042-68-4425), it listed Harrison J. Bounel as a holder of the same SSN. The Social Security Administration does not recycle social security numbers, and officials consider duplicate usage as a red flag for identity fraud.

Not sure why this is still hanging around but Snopes has already debunked the whole SSN issue on Obama. Maybe we all need to stop focusing on issues like this one and deal with fixing what the current President is breaking. Doesn't anyone else see all this crap about birth certificates and SSNs as the red herrings they are? He's IN THE WHITE HOUSE and is apparently not going anywhere right away so get past that and figure out what to do to get the country moving in better direction.

Apparently you didn't read the whole article. There are more sources than just the one I gave on it. If the Chief Justice scheduled a conference with the evidence presented, apparently it is still an issue big enough for them to deal with.

The fact they're bothering with it says something. And snopes.com isn't always right, nor do they have inside info such as government document access that no one else but certain people do.

The Supreme Court‘s website shows that docket file no. 12A606 was originally denied by Justice Anthony Kennedy, a Reagan appointee, on Dec. 13. On Jan. 9, Chief Justice Roberts sent Dr. Taitz’s application to the full court for a review scheduled for Feb. 15.

Despite the lack of exposure from the mainstream media, the issue appears to have gained some steam among conservative bloggers. On Jan. 9, New York Times best-selling author Jerome Corsi suggested that the president’s nominee to head the Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan, may have played a role in removing birther evidence from Barack Obama‘s passport records.

It appears that in 2008, a State Department insider was simultaneously employed by Analysis Corporation of McLean, Va. (then headed by Mr. Brennan) and was reprimanded for accessing (and possibly altering) Obama’s passport records.

I read the whole article, finding this poignant "In 2012, the New York Times reported that up to 70 percent of Obama's Twitter followers are fake."
Apparently, that's news fit to print nowadays. Hilarity surely ensues from such being introduced to legal allegations.
But to the OP, if scotus summarily dismisses the charges, will that be the end of it? Somehow I doubt it.

We may be at opposite ends of political spectrum, but I agree and have since he was first elected. Whatever may or may not have been 'exposed,' up to and including the 'charge' he wasn't a citizen, it became moot upon election.

He's done so many wrongs, it leaves me breathless when I see his approval numbers, though lately they seem to be heading south. No matter, the issues are what are going on today, not the peripheral issues that should have mattered in 2008-09.

Clinton had already been elected and yet was impeached. Perhaps people are still trying to find someone to impeach Obama.

WiccanLiberal. Perhaps you, and many others are not aware that SNOPES hasn't been the most reliable source for many questions over the last several years.
Too many people put their undivided trust in Snopes, and Snopes knows they have been getting away with pretending to be the ONE source of investigating SOURCES for reliability, and truth.
In other words. Be careful using SNOPES. They have shown a left-leaning, supportive mode for Obama in the past, and I personally do not trust them Unquestionably.
