Nothing is to good for this administration - when someone else is picking up the tab
While the rest of us eat cake and brace for the oh so horrible sequester cuts, Joe Biden is jet setting around the globe spending half a million dollars per night in taxpayer money....to sleep. The Weekly Standard (http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/bidens-one-night-paris-hotel-tab-58500050_708799.html) has the scoop:
As it turns out, Vice President Joe Biden's London stay in February was not the most expensive part of his trip. A government document released on February 14, 2013 shows that the contract for the Hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand came in at $585,000.50.

Meanwhile, let's not forget President Obama has no plans (http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2013/03/19/no-plans-for-obama-to-cut-back-on-lavish-vacations-and-travel-n1538461) to cut back on his lavish vacations and travel, either. http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2013/03/22/what-sequester-one-night-of-biden-in-paris-585000-n1546590

I had no idea they can spell such words. They sure don't live the way they talk.

Hey, in Obama's case it is good to be the King

In Biden's case it is good to be the Court Jester

You know, there was a time where our President and Vice President didn't feel the need to travel the world while in office.

What exactly was wrong with those days?

The world was a much larger place back then, Av. It took longer to get places, communication took longer, transportation was slower and far less reliable. These days the world is a much smaller place, we now have the means to get places faster. While the need to go to the four corners of the globe may not be paramount, it sure does look good on the front page...
