Go to CSPAN BOOKTV and prepare to finally understand the crash and you should get some ideas as to how to watch what is going on, may spur you to write or contract congress and raise hell. This crash can happen again.
Anyway, I urge each of you who care about your economy to look at this program. It is in a format that anybody can understand. Too many economics programs are over the heads of too many people, this one is not.
And you can enjoy it. Peter Wallison was on the commission to examine the failure and there are several others who speak to the book and help evaluate it. The title is Bad history, worse Policy.
