Ok, time to pick music for Mother/Son dance. The following videos aren't appearing in any order. I'm flummoxed in choosing, each gives a different message and hope and promise. Hmmm, I've narrow to 4, one title two different lyics:

Forever Young, Dylan

Forever Young, Stewart, I'm leaning more towards this of the two:

I Hope You Dance, Womack

My Wish, Flatts

I know Mother's are forever their son's First love...no disrespect intended.

AT, I'm all about the lyrics, can't really hear the music, one of the problems of being deaf. That hits me of smacking of inappropriate love for son. ;) It's likely just me.

I was looking for wishes and support. Went with "I Hope You Dance." 2nd choice, "My Wish."

My apologies. Perhaps if you had told, or reminded me (US) about your hearing problem. I might have chosen another.

I have always loved the song Godspeed by the Dixie Chicks. Mostly because there are very few songs out there that are Mom/son. It's all Mom/daughter, Dad/daughter, or Dad/son if you look at the trends.

I used to rock both my boys to this song. I tear up every time I hear it because it is so sweet and reminds me of their teeny tiny days that are long gone.

Oh that was awesome! I'm happy with my pick for this son and this wedding. However, if the older son asks me for a choice, for his 6/2/13 wedding, I think this would be my choice!

Thanks for the sentiments, barring a miracle, unlikely. Snow flurries/showers in am, high of 43 with 20+mph winds in pm. Brrr!

Still, better than the day before:
