LIST OF TRAITORS

We came only four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

The Statement of Purpose from the bill read:

To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators (all but one was a democrat, one was an independent) were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

Here are the 46 senators that voted to give your rights to the U.N.

both of my senators voted for this crap, 1D and 1R,
the republican Warner has great rep for bringing home the military bacon to the state and puts on a conservative face because of his military industrial complex ties.

but he's voted for MANY, rights stripping bills and his name is on the John Warner national defense authorization act that gave the prez more martial law powers, by taking away authority of the national guards from the governors and handing it to the CiC at his whim.

Both the D&R are on the same page here, more power to the oligarchy off shore and national. put the levels of control anywhere but in the hands of the people they are suppose to represent.

Doesn't the Senate have to affirm a treaty by 67 votes?

Tyr, can you tell us the number of that bill in the Senate?

But as I asked, since treaties take 67 votes to pass, should we worry when they never got close to that figure?

We know the left proposes much but thankfully based on this proposal, they can't get away with much if any of it.

Mark Begich, Democrat, AK voted against it.

He won't last re-election though... we're heavily conservative here.

46 TRAITORS IN THE U.S. SENATE RECENTLY VOTED IN FAVOR OF THE U.N. SMALL ARMS TREATY IN VIOLATION OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION

http://www.libertynewsonline.com/files/content/33124_1thm.jpg (http://www.libertynewsonline.com/article_301_33124.php#)At the end of March, 2013, the American people came four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Second Amendment Constitutional rights over to the United Nations.

The U.N. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators broke their Oaths to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. These traitorous "Oath Breakers" were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power and that my fellow American citizens, is TREASON.

Thanks Tyr. I tried to wade through that but the amendment was to kill something. Also comments about the 2013 budget were on that site.

Never mind though., I know that for a treaty to become law it takes 67 votes for the treaty and this one got killed off. As you say, the 46 that voted in favor of the amendment qualify as scum at least.

I've read the text, and I believe I posted links to it previously (I'll check later).

This is a non-issue. It deals ONLY with IMPORTS and EXPORTS of certain small arms. It does NOT affect my 2nd amendment rights in any way. I could still buy/sell the same as before, just not outside the country. Since my 2nd amendment rights deal with rights WITHIN this country, I'm not really bothered by this.

Card carrying NRA member, btw.
