Not only has Rubio said that he won't vote for the bill as it stands because of border security issues.

In an interview on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show on Tuesday night, Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio indicated that he would not support the “Gang of Eight” immigration bill he had helped author unless it is changed.

Now it looks like the another stumbling block has emerged due to obamacare.

Bipartisan meetings in the House of Representatives on a comprehensive immigration reform bill have failed, and the congressmen will meet for the last time today without reaching an agreement on a House bill, ABC News has learned.
The stumbling block is GOP insistence that newly legalized workers now working in the shadows have no access to government-sponsored health care during their 15-year pathway to citizenship, according to two sources with access to the secret house “Gang of 8″ meetings.
Democrats say that since these newly legalized immigrants would be paying taxes they should be eligible for benefits.

Illegal immigrants don't care about citizenship. The GOP needs to coordinate with groups like LULAC and other pro-Amnesty groups to draft a bill providing legalization with no path to citizenship. Put the Democrats in a position of angering the Latino community.

This is getting beyond ridiculous.

No, the "stumbling block" is that people who broke the law to crash the border or overstay a visa, are being rewarded by being allowed to stay legally, while people who obeyed the law and are waiting patiently in their home countries for permission to come in legally, are being kept out.

Remind me again why we want to accept as legal residents a group of people whose only qualification is that they broke American law?

Is today "Opposites Day" or something?

Is there any sanity left in our government, in either party?

BTW, "citizenship" is part of the silliness. The border-crashers etc. don't care about citizenship. They showed that when they violated the law - they knew that people who did that, were throwing away any chance of citizenship (at least in a sane world). Yet they did it anyway.

They don't care about citizenship. They just want to stay here. That should be a further warning to those who think these people will make "good citizens".

But, noooo..... we have loons in government who think that withholding citizenship will discourage the illegal aliens. Did these people get their entire education from the Nickelodeon channel?

For every illegal that's pick up and deported a person on the waiting list should be allowed in. Make citizens of them, not the criminals.

Just a reminder Gaffer. Whenever any Politician, from either party uses the expression...."Comprehensive Plan" in reference to Illegals. That is nothing but CODE TALK for AMNESTY.

That is fine as long as the border is secured and sealed. That is what R's promised they would do - but as usual - they caved so the liberal media would be nice to them for about 5 minutes

Once again we are screwed and millions of Undocumented Democrats will be granted amnesty
