Why the Mantis Shrimp is my new favorite animal (http://theoatmeal.com/comics/mantis_shrimp). Cool little critter, hit my radar screen a couple of years ago.

Thanks for bringing this up again. So, if you have an aquarium, do not purchase Mantis Shrimp.

Beautiful to look at, deadly to life.

Get an Oscar, and a Paco, and a Snakehead. Let them battle it out for supremacy. Then toss in a 1/2 inch Piranha and you'll find the others are amateurs. After watching the vid though, the Piranha may want to swim clear of the cute little shrimp!
