Suppose you are 55 years old, and first arrested at 15. That would equate to 10 arrests per year for 40 years straight!!

Imagine being arrested 396 times in your life, and you can get an idea of what it’s like to be 51-year-old Shermain Miles.

According to the Sun Times, Miles has been arrested almost 400 times in her 51 years on earth. Dating back to the day she was born, that averages out to 7.7 arrests per year.

But of course, Miles was not in handcuffs as a toddler. She has been arrested 396 times in the past 35 years, which makes the average annual arrest number jump to a whopping 11 arrests.

Regardless of the average number, Miles has been arrested far too many times in her life, and has now been ordered get mental health and substance abuse treatment.

The order to seek treatment came as part of a deal from prosecutors.

It is reported that Miles thanked the judge for the opportunity to get help.

Shermain Miles is a homeless woman who has been convicted of multiple felonies and misdemeanors.

The bigger question is, and should be. Like the Obama administration is showing all of us.

"Why did it take 396 times before somebody with BRAINS did something????"

I knew what color she was when I saw her name. This is the fault of the courts for not putting her away for a long period of time a long time ago. Repeat offenders should automatically get additional time added to their sentence.

That would be racist.

That would be racist.
Technically it was stereotyping, not racism; racism involves a belief in racial superiority/inferiority.
