In all fairness the principal says the kids also recited the pledge of Allegiance in French and Spanish also but it was still one nation under God , myself any of them wouldn't fly in my kids school , this is America and the Pledge of Allegiance is American period , personally I think this principal ought to be looking for work this morning , allowing kids to say one nation under Allah , heck no its time to stand up and get these liberal idiots out and take our Country back ! :salute:

Fury is brewing at Rocky Mountain High School, in Colorado, after a multicultural student group were encouraged to recite the Pledge of Allegiance over the loudspeaker in Arabic - replacing 'one nation under God' with 'one nation under Allah'.

I wouldn't go that far, but that principal should have to announce over the loudspeaker that he made an error in judgement.

As expected, you are taking the story out of context. If you read the entire story, it was a cultural awareness group that wanted to break down barriers. They wanted to prove that people of all languages and cultures could take pride in being American citizens. So they recited the Pledge in their respective languages.

I love how some of you go to great extremes to stir up shit. Otherwise known as trolling. :cheers2:

The Language of the Classroom is ENGLISH...Not Spanish, Not Arabic, nor any other Language.

The Left and secular Humanists go to great length to remove all vestiges of faith from public schools but now in a way to seem more open and politically correct will make Students recite the Pledge of Allegiance to ALLAH and not God?

Why cant if the two terms are interchangeable as you put forth in your assertion then saying GOD in English is the same as saying ALLAH in Islamic. So where is the Problem with keeping it in English?

Why does the left feel they have to make all of these accommodations? In Muslim Lands it is strictly prohibited to recite the name GOD or HASHEM or JEHOVAH or YAHWEH. You can be sent to Prison for it. You can be executed for it..

Why must we make an exception? When none are made for us?

Another story that again proves HOW STUPID, DUMB, IGNORANT, and IDIOTIC our nation is, and has become.

It all begins in WASHINGTON DC.

Anyone who doubts that....Voted for OBAMA.

First, you can't compare our country with another country with a different culture and system of government. It's apples and oranges.
Also, story was about a group of kids who want to break down barriers that separate different cultures. In the U.S., a free country, everyone can pledge allegiance to the American flag in whatever language they happen to speak. It's still the same pledge.
By restricting everyone to one language and one religion, you are acting no different that Muslim extremists.

But hey, because this is a free country, you and aboutime can recite your regurgitated horsepoop about liberals and Obama as often as you want. But just remember that we are watching you.

Well then repeal colorado's official language law. Otherwise, refrain from use of the schools PA system using foreign language.

Gabby I agree with you all the way up to iit is the same pledge , Allah is not God the Muslims don't believe in God therefore they didn't recite it in there language ONE NATION UNDER GOD Allah is not the Christian God nor do the Muslims believe in it that to me is the difference , and so you know yes I don't like it being said in any language but American in our schools our Children should be proud of our country , there are other ways of breaking barriers , when we take a sporting event to mexico what is played there natinal amthen not our even though it is a sport from America with Americans making up 99% of it but we respect them that it is there country , Knocking down barriers is fine but not with Allah IMO

first, you can't compare our country with another country with a different culture and system of government. It's apples and oranges.

why not? Why cant i? These other countries would never allow us to do the same in their country. When our female soldiers are in saudi arabia or other arab countries they are greatly restricted in how they dress and what they do off base. We have to follow their rules... Fair is fair...let them follow ours!

also, story was about a group of kids who want to break down barriers that separate different cultures. In the u.s., a free country, everyone can pledge allegiance to the american flag in whatever language they happen to speak. It's still the same pledge.

it's not up to the kids to make that choice and it's not the job of administrators to allow it to happen. Back when my relatives came to this country they had to be proficient in english. To succeed you need to speak the language of the country you are in. My father in law was hit by his parents if he spoke italian in the streets... He was told to speak english in public. Italian at home. Also, multi-culturalism takes away from the host country. In the late 19th century immigrants assimilated into the culture.... They didnt try to rebuild italy or ireland or germany here... They may have lived in ethnic neighborhoods (irish in rockaway, italians in bay ridge, germans in woodhaven) but they all just wanted to be one thing...americans.

by restricting everyone to one language and one religion, you are acting no different that muslim extremists.

i never said restrict them to one religion. So you can rescind that false assertion right now gabby.

If everyone spoke english they would have an easier time assimilating and getting better opportunities for success.
Efl just allows people to not have to work hard and learn our language and customs. It keeps them as a perpetual underclass and the graduation rates in schools where there are high concentrations of non english speaking kids or where english is the second language of the household are appalling. Look at the inner city high schools in east los angeles, the bronx, harlem and brooklyn. They can barely graduate 50% of their kids. And what are their job prospects after they get out of school? Ibm? Apple? Microsoft? Verizon? Pick a fortune 500 company and youll see they want people where they speak english as a primary language. If they only speak spanish or another foreign language their chances of success are extremely limited.

but hey, because this is a free country, you and aboutime can recite your regurgitated horsepoop about liberals and obama as often as you want. But just remember that we are watching you.

show me where i continually bash obama gabby, please... Show us all. I dont. I may not like his policies, i may not like the way he runs this country, but i certainly dont bash him with every post and if i do criticize him it is the policy and not the person that i criticize. I dare you to prove otherwise and back up your statement. And i speak for only myself... Nobody else here... So show me gabby... Lets see what you have..

The U.S. is a nation of immigrants. My mom is from Germany. My aunt is from Mexico. My sister's former charge is from Colombia.
Everyone has a right to be proud of their heritage. The fact that you speak a different language doesn't make you any less of an American.
Of course, there will always be dimwitted rednecks who believe that everyone should speak the same language and worship the same God. They are probably more comfortable on the StormFront board, which they can share their hatred with their fellow racists.

It most certainly does. EVERYONE immigrating here from elsewhere should learn the English language, at least if they plan on integrating into our society and actually being Americans. Problem is, many come here to "live off the fat of the land" (see: welfare) and couldn't give a crap about being an American.

Your argument leads to an assumption of LACK of integration into American society. America has certain expectations of its citizens .. and I'd have thought that the expectation of learning, and using, its own language has to be one of the most basic of the lot.

America, in taking in immigrants, has every right to expect them to fit in, to integrate. And not be required to weaken its very identity through multicultural deferences, required to meet a trendy Leftie agenda that has nothing to do with national identity.

I find it most odd that I, as a NON American, find myself in the position of being more of a cheerleader for America's national identity and its values than YOU evidently are !!

But then, I'm not a Socialist. So maybe it figures.

There is a reason someone leaves a country. You apparently advocate re-creating the mess the immigrant left. If immigrants fail to assimilate there will eventually be no understanding of the culture or ideals that founded this country. Or is that what you want? For example it took me the better part of a decade for my wife to get used to the idea having a firearm in the house not being comparable to having cocaine in the house. Who do you think borrows money from Western Sky at 89% APR, which is a "normal" interest rate in some countries (immigrants)? A friend of my wife paid $700 to have a car battery installed. Much of the world has grown accustomed to being exploited. I see no reason to import that mentality here. Besides that H1B/B1 IT sweatshops foster a an "obedience culture" in US companies. Left unchecked Americans will eventually work in such a culture/mentality at local companies. An insular environment perpetuates the secret sweatshop workers that quietly work in US companies.

Take a look at this:

Gaby our country is made up of immigrants one way or another we all have family that has come from somewhere else at one point and this is the USA so yes you can practice any religion you want but the Muslims don't believe in God , Jesus or anything to do with the Christian religion so for them to replace God with Allah is where the problem is , and I guess you have never been out of the country if you had you would realize only hear do we have nit wits that feel you can speak any language any other place you learn there language , there is no dial 1 for English in other places only hear in the USA do we bend over for other languages , but I understand and know there is no talking with you anything that is normal in the USA is wrong we should have gun control to save the kids but murder babies by the thousands each year I know the liberal way and honestly there is no reason to argue it , but I have to say if I must say if I lived in a country where I thought everything it stood for or was founded on I would have to leave it

We believe there is only one God. All this talk of a different "Christian" God smells of polytheism to us. We simply don't believe in any other Gods but God.

So you would have preferred them to say "Une nation sous God" instead of "Une nation sous Dieu" in French because Dieu is a different God?

Are you fucking kidding me?? The hypocrisy is so thick on this statement you'd need to sharpen it with a 100pt block, cryo-treat it, then heat it up to cut through it...

Conveniently you don't recall the same BS 'comparisons' with Obamacare (pre-vote) and the Canadian health care system and the UK system as well?

Oh, and comparing our every day lives to other lives of other countries at every turn?

Comparing our tax system saying other countries tax their citizens higher and they do better, etc (which is a statement that competes with my mare on largeness and quantity).

Seriously, I am really surprised natural selection hasn't taken care of you by now...
