V4R and I have the whole weekend. My director decided the endo unit could remain closed on Friday so I am not due back to work until Monday. I have PT on Saturday but other than that, I can do as I please. I had a yen for BBQ this evening. Off we went to Smokin' Al's. Right now we are both stuffed on ribs that were a truly spiritual experience. This place does some great pit BBQ and has all the sides to go with it. I can't recall the last time I ate a full rack of ribs but I did tonight. I'm gonna sit down, have a glass of wine to help me digest my dinner and relax. The neighbors are having a party with lots of noisy fireworks but I don't even care about that. And I am lucky my animals are completely unaffected by the noise. So here's to the spirit of independence and family get togethers and even fireworks. May all of our friends here have a lovely holiday.
