1 lb. lean ground beef

the following (tweaked from Alton Brown on Food Network http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/taco-potion-19-recipe/index.html):
2 tablespoons chili powder 3/4 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoons hot smoked paprika
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper skip cayenne

I do the full on spicy one myself, but since I cook for two sons, one not into spice as much as dad, I cut it a bit.

Brown the beef completely, drain fat, add entire spice mixture and about 1/2 cup water... mix and cook for a few more minutes...

Best taco seasoning ever... of all time.

Agreed. There was a time when I would happily do more than CHASE with only 12 ounces.

Those were the days I can only dream of now. But that Seasoning is really MOUTH WATERING stuff. Good recipe.
