We seem to be too dumb for our own good. Yes, the Democrats keep winning. Not the candidates, but their ideas.
Republicans preach we MUST go along with Democrats ideas or we lose.
Slowly, bit by bit, Democrats have turned Republicans into quasi Democrats.
Look how republicans now claim we must go along with illegals crashing our borders. Really, We must go along Sen. Lindsey Graham and Sen. wanna be president John McCain? We have to adopt their ideas on health care to survive?
Why can't republicans simply make it clear to the nation the ills of socialism?
I will tell you why.
There are far more needy than those who do not need.
At least from government.
The public caught on that it is in their personal best interest to take.
They want the rich to be the givers. So, since few feel sorry for the rich, taking from the rich is what is left. And do you not think it is the winning formula?
McCain and Graham sure think it is. Watch the claim we are a nation of immigrants keep being the story told. Hell, my roots go back to the time of the founding and perhaps before that. But does that mean we must spend millions or billions closing our border only to ignore those borders?
We do not share the same culture as Mexico has. Why must we engage in silly dialogue acting as if we vitally need their citizens to the point we welcome the Mexicans? (to be frank, why make it easier on the Maya or the Aztecs given the poor way our native tribes must endure?)
Do they have a decent country to live in? Well, a lot of it is tropical. Do you know of snow in Mexico? I know of some high mountains in Mexico that must have snow, but do they have such cold weather they must use snowplows? I bet not.Too warm there. Hawaii is tropical but do you want to go skiing at Hawaii? Is that the first place you think of on a winter trip? I mention this state for one purpose. It is located at the same latitude as is Mexico.
Anyway, the republicans best smarten up or they will be nothing more than Democrats with an R after their names.
I suggest they focus on the economics. People want things, but once they figure they are selfish by making their kids pay for the parents transgressions, they may want to not leave those kids with those enormous problems.
At least that is my hope.
Socialism claims to be best.
But notice all over the world, when you screw one class, the other classes take up defenses.
We are in a fight between the takers and givers. At the moment, the takers are winning.
One last point. Why do you suppose Obama has really been a pal to the rich but bashes them?
Because he can and he knows that by them getting richer, they figure the price is a bit more taxes.
We fight socialism not because we hate the idea, but because given time, the country fails.
Detroit is but one example. :salute::salute::salute:
