Herbie Gets A New Home

[red states rule]

Over the last several weeks my cat Herbie has been spraying and I tried everything to stop him. I went to Pet Smart and bought sprays, odor control, and repellents. Nothing worked

I took him to the vet to check for a bladder infection, and he was 100% healthy

Then I reached a terrible decision. I took him to the vet today to have him put to sleep

I took him in and after the nurse left the room I was holing him and balling like a baby. I signed the papers and left

When I got home the vet called and I was told one of the girls lives on a farm and offered to let Herbie live there. She would feed him and he would have shelter in the barn

I told her yes, and at least Herbie will be alive and can spray to his hearts content. I miss him very much but I had to do what I had to do

It was the first night without Herbie and I hope I made the right decision. It is sad to go to bed and wake up and he was not sleeping next to me

I hope he has a decent life and quickly becomes King of the Barn

I miss him so much
