I caught that on the news earlier. Once again politics raises it ugly head.

At least after he retires he can write a tell all book. And give his personal opinion.

Think you misunderstood. He isn't being renominated because if he was the liberals in Congress would grill him about the "lack of progess" in the confirmation hearings. Just as they do with every nomination these days.

Thought you people wanted changes made anyway? You asked for a new Sec. of Defense, you got it. And now he is making changes.
