Looks like Obama is giving a speech today at a college in Buffalo, NY. And the Obamanites tried to cut out the free market completely, in handing out tickets.

The tickets were free, and they set up a lottery to pick who gets them. But for some unexplained reason, they also printed on the ticket that it couldn't be resold... and then made no record of who got the ticket initially, thus making the statement on the ticket completely unenforceable.

Some people who wanted new shoes or a doctor appointment or a week's worth of food for their family more then they wanted the ticket, have been selling them. And other people who wanted the ticket more than they wanted those other things, have been buying them.

To the Obamanites, this free-enterprise action is completely unacceptable. Now they have the cops chasing the ticket-sellers.

Another successful action by the administration who says they want to help the ordinary Joe.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Craigslist is flooded with people selling their tickets to see President Obama Thursday. Almost immediately after the free tickets were given out and the UB lottery winners were chosen, ads began popping up online.

On Craigslist, one person offered to sell their ticket Tuesday for $250 dollars, but then on Wednesday, the price jumped to $350. There are also ads from people without tickets, offering hundreds of dollars for a chance to see the President in person. However, the ticket clearly states it cannot be resold.

On Wednesday, warnings have been popping up on Craigslist. The message states that Police are posing as buyers, meeting with sellers, confiscating the presidential ticket, and issuing a criminal ticket.

Apparently the statement the Obamanites printed on the tickets is mistaken. The tickets can be sold easily, as many are demonstrating.

If they Obamanites want them to be unsellable, why didn't they make them that way? Were they trying to create criminals out of ordinary people doing normal, harmless things?

I'm confused; people are willing to pay to see Obama speak?

Only gives credence to the old adage, a fool and his money are soon parted.

But clearly the issue, as I see it anyways, is that instead of printing not for resale, they should have put, all sales are subject to state and local taxes. Our governments certainly could use the revenue and who better to tax than those who actually willing to pay to see and hear the pres.

Little-Acorn. You ask..."How dare they?" That's how many of them believe OBAMA BUCKS were meant to be spent in being the good, little, uneducated, easily-led, followers of a Master LIAR.

They were probably just ignorant that some people might actually NOT want to see BO in action; an impossibility to them.

BTW, is scalping illegal in Buffalo?

Depends on the era. I'm pretty sure that, currently, I could make a case for "scalping" to be a racially insensitive term.
