So, it was 1st September and Father's Day. What better to do on a glorious Spring day than spend it at the zoo. Here is the result :)

Jafar, you've got skills! That pic of the little monkey on a rock looks as good as any professional's.

Awesome pictures. Some of these animals are on my must have list, while some others I would like to just have, if I was a rich man.

I need one!

Thanks Abbey. It was just an average zoom lens and use of depth of field and good framing. Anyone can do it :)

I know. I would love a Red Panda pet. The lizard was running wild and when I took that photo, he was "hiding" under a bench seat next to the Meerkats.

Great Pics!! I love the zoo. We actually have a great "children's" zoo by our house with a nice Australian exhibit, you can get up close to the wallaby and Kangaroo's.

I found it funny when you said "a nice spring day" I always forget that you are opposite of our seasons... Enjoy your upcoming summer!!

I've always loved the zoo, too! Until a few years ago, had a membership at Brookfield Zoo. They have a great Australian House Exhibit. (http://www.brookfieldzoo.org/pgpages/pagegen.41.aspx)

I love the summer. It's one reason why I loved living in Malaysia, except the humidity is much lower.

You know they do have some impressive Red Kangaroos there but we completely missed that part of the zoo. Such a huge place. Maybe next time.

It was not all me. The funky little monkey posed for me :D
