1
Seahawks (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/sea/seattle-seahawks)
11-5
--

Last Week: 1
Russell Wilson and a dominant defense get headlines, but Marshawn Lynch and rookie Christine Michael will give the Seahawks balance. It's Super Bowl or bust in Seattle.

2
Falcons (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/atl/atlanta-falcons)
13-3
2
Last Week: 4
The best offensive skill players in the league won't matter if the offensive line struggles. The departures of Todd McClure and Tyson Clabo leave big holes to fill up front.

3
49ers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/sf/san-francisco-49ers)
11-4-1
1
Last Week: 2
No Michael Crabtree hurts, but Anquan Boldin and rookie Quinton Patton look ready. As for the defense, rookie Eric Reid, Glenn Dorsey and Nnamdi Asomugha join an already fearsome unit.

4
Broncos (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/den/denver-broncos)
13-3
1
Last Week: 3
Missing Von Miller for six games will hurt, especially with Elvis Dumervil in Baltimore. At least the Broncos' offense looks more than capable of picking up the slack.

5
Packers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/gb/green-bay-packers)
11-5
--

Last Week: 5
The Packers haven't had a 100-yard rusher in 43 straight regular-season games, more than twice as long as any other team. Is Eddie Lacy or Johnathan Franklin the answer?

6
Patriots (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ne/new-england-patriots)
12-4
--

Last Week: 6
With Gronk's injury and Wes Welker gone, the Pats' offense rests on Tom Brady's chemistry with undrafted rookies Zach Sudfeld and Kenbrell Thompkins.

7
Texans (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/hou/houston-texans)
12-4
--

Last Week: 7
How healthy is Arian Foster? Foster's 15 rushing touchdowns led the league last season, but his yards-per-rush average has dropped each year since 2010.

8
Ravens (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/bal/baltimore-ravens)
10-6
--

Last Week: 8
Baltimore lost six Super Bowl starters and Paul Kruger on defense, but quietly reloaded. A defensive draft, plus Elvis Dumervil and Daryl Smith, will keep the Ravens' D formidable.

9
Bengals (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/cin/cincinnati-bengals)
10-6
--

Last Week: 9
Andy Dalton has to handle the blitz better to win in the AFC North. Dalton was sacked a league-high 20 times facing at least five rushers last season.

10
Redskins (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/wsh/washington-redskins)
10-6
1
Last Week: 11
Will the Redskins change their offense to protect RG III? Griffin was hit 101 times between sacks and rushes last season, second to Cam Newton among quarterbacks.

11
Colts (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ind/indianapolis-colts)
11-5
1
Last Week: 10
New offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton established the run at Stanford to open up his tight ends in the passing game. Expect big things from Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener.

12
Giants (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/nyg/new-york-giants)
9-7
--

Last Week: 12
As injuries pile up for Big Blue, no unit has been hit harder than the offensive line. Playing without center David Baas and tackle David Diehl will be tough.

13
Saints (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/no/new-orleans-saints)
7-9
1
Last Week: 14
Rob Ryan wants to bring the blitz back to New Orleans. The Saints sent added pressure on half of drop-backs from 2009-11, most in the league.

14
Bears (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/chi/chicago-bears)
10-6
1
Last Week: 13
New offensive-minded head coach Marc Trestman has work to do. The Bears' offense has finished above the bottom 10 in total yards once in the past 11 years.

15
Rams (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/stl/st.-louis-rams)
7-8-1
--

Last Week: 15
With upgrades at tackle, tight end and hopefully wide receiver, how long is Sam Bradford's leash? Bradford has never finished a season above 21st in Total QBR.

16
Steelers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/pit/pittsburgh-steelers)
8-8
--

Last Week: 16
Guy Whimper is the only offseason addition for the Steelers' offensive line, which produced a league-worst 1.7 yards before contact per rush last season.

17
Vikings (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/min/minnesota-vikings)
10-6
--

Last Week: 17
Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record survived Adrian Peterson's onslaught by 8 yards last year. In 2013, it might not be so lucky.

18
Cowboys (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/dal/dallas-cowboys)
8-8
2
Last Week: 20
The defense ranked last in QBR allowed on throws deeper than 10 yards downfield last season. Monte Kiffin's Tampa 2 will help cornerbacks Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne.

19
Chiefs (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/kc/kansas-city-chiefs)
2-14
3
Last Week: 22
Andy Reid's Chiefs are more talented than last year's 2-14 record indicates. Top pick Eric Fisher, Alex Smith, Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe provide a foundation for offensive improvement.

20
Dolphins (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/mia/miami-dolphins)
7-9
2
Last Week: 18
Ryan Tannehill has a new toy. No player has more receiving touchdowns at least 20 yards downfield since 2009 than new Dolphins wideout Mike Wallace.

21
Lions (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/det/detroit-lions)
4-12
3
Last Week: 24
Get in the end zone! Lions receivers were tackled 23 times at or inside the 5-yard line, at least five more than anyone else.

22
Buccaneers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/tb/tampa-bay-buccaneers)
7-9
3
Last Week: 19
In a division with Brees, Ryan and Newton, it's no surprise the Bucs upgraded defensive backs. Darrelle Revis, Dashon Goldson and Johnthan Banks will fortify the secondary.

23
Panthers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/car/carolina-panthers)
7-9
2
Last Week: 21
Panthers running backs are the sixth-most expensive unit in the league, yet QB Cam Newton led the team in rush yards and touchdowns. Carolina needs more from its rushing unit.

24
Chargers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/sd/san-diego-chargers)
7-9
1
Last Week: 23
With limited offensive weapons and seven defensive starters gone from Week 1 last season, new coach Mike McCoy faces a transition year.

25
Eagles (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/phi/philadelphia-eagles)
4-12
--

Last Week: 25
The Chip Kelly experiment begins with Michael Vick under center. Kelly's Oregon team averaged 20.9 seconds per play last season, four seconds faster than the NFL's fastest team (Patriots).

26
Cardinals (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ari/arizona-cardinals)
5-11
--

Last Week: 26
Not a good start for the revamped offensive line. Guard Jonathan Cooper, Arizona's seventh overall pick in April, will miss the season with a broken leg.

27
Titans (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ten/tennessee-titans)
6-10
--

Last Week: 27
Chance Warmack and Andy Levitre will beef up the Titans' offensive line, but consistency under center is a problem. Jake Locker has never played 12 games in a season.

28
Browns (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/cle/cleveland-browns)
5-11
--

Last Week: 28
Brandon Weeden had the fifth-worst Total QBR on throws at least 15 yards downfield last year, but new offensive coordinator Norv Turner isn't shy about throwing deep.

29
Jaguars (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/jac/jacksonville-jaguars)
2-14
2
Last Week: 31
The Jaguars ranked 28th in Total QBR and last in QBR allowed last year. Luke Joeckel is a building block for a team with plenty of room for improvement.

30
Bills (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/buf/buffalo-bills)
6-10
--

Last Week: 30
Jeff Tuel is the starter (for now). Tuel ranked 64th in FBS in opponent-adjusted Total QBR last season at Washington State and gets the Pats in Week 1.

31
Raiders (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/oak/oakland-raiders)
4-12
2
Last Week: 29
The Raiders' defense had a league-low 12 sacks with four or fewer rushers last season. That's just one problem of many on both sides of the ball.

32
Jets (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/nyj/new-york-jets)
6-10
--

Last Week: 32
Muhammad Wilkerson is a bright spot for Gang Green. Wilkerson's 70 tackles last year trailed only J.J. Watt among defensive linemen. Other than that, it's not pretty.

1
49ers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/sf/san-francisco-49ers)
1-0
2
Last Week: 3
Between Anquan Boldin (13 catches, 208 yards, TD) and Vernon Davis (6 catches, 98 yards, 2 TDs), it doesn't look like replacing Michael Crabtree will be an issue.

2
Seahawks (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/sea/seattle-seahawks)
1-0
1
Last Week: 1
The Seahawks' defense held Cam Newton in check. He posted a career-low 163 yards of offense. Keep that game plan for this week against Colin Kaepernick.

3
Broncos (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/den/denver-broncos)
1-0
1
Last Week: 4
Seven TDs against the defending champs? The Manning Bowl could be a nice encore opportunity -- Peyton and Eli finished 1-2 in Week 1 passing yards, both reaching at least 450.

4
Falcons (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/atl/atlanta-falcons)
0-1
2
Last Week: 2
Matty Ice, what happened? Atlanta had possession in the last two minutes of each half, but failed to score. Matt Ryan was 4-of-9 with an interception in that span.

5
Patriots (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ne/new-england-patriots)
1-0
1
Last Week: 6
A near loss in Buffalo wasn't pretty, but Danny Amendola looked good. Amendola had nine catches for first downs, a total Wes Welker reached twice in 77 games since 2008.

6
Texans (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/hou/houston-texans)
1-0
1
Last Week: 7
Monday was Matt Schaub's fourth career game with at least 300 yards and completing three-quarters of his passes. The game plan is to run despite Arian Foster's injury, but should it be?

7
Packers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/gb/green-bay-packers)
0-1
2
Last Week: 5
Aaron Rodgers was 1-of-6 for 3 yards and an interception when the Niners blitzed. Last year, Rodgers' plus-11 TD-INT differential against added pressure was second best in the league.

8
Saints (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/no/new-orleans-saints)
1-0
5
Last Week: 13
Matt Ryan was sacked three times in 15 drop-backs against at least five rushers in Week 1. Ryan wasn't sacked on 31 such drop-backs last year against New Orleans.

9
Bears (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/chi/chicago-bears)
1-0
5
Last Week: 14
Jay Cutler was 8-of-10 for 94 yards and a touchdown against at least five rushers Sunday against the Bengals. Cutler ranked 33rd with a 23.5 Total QBR last year against added pressure.

10
Bengals (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/cin/cincinnati-bengals)
0-1
1
Last Week: 9
Good start for Andy Dalton, with two touchdowns to A.J. Green and connecting on all 10 attempts to tight ends Tyler Eifert and Jermaine Gresham.

11
Ravens (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/bal/baltimore-ravens)
0-1
3
Last Week: 8
The Ravens allowed 15 passing touchdowns last year and almost half of that in this year's opener. The seventh TD pass Baltimore allowed last year was in Week 10.

12
Colts (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ind/indianapolis-colts)
1-0
1
Last Week: 11
Andrew Luck was 11-of-12 for 99 yards against Oakland's blitz Sunday. Will Miami do the same? The Dolphins sent five-plus rushers on 26 drop-backs, most in Week 1.

13
Cowboys (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/dal/dallas-cowboys)
1-0
5
Last Week: 18
Bill Callahan kept things short for Tony Romo. Romo threw two-thirds of his passes 5 yards or fewer downfield, his largest percentage in a game since 2008.

14
Eagles (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/phi/philadelphia-eagles)
1-0
11
Last Week: 25
Michael Vick was an effective caretaker of the read-option Monday, running 41 zone-read rushes. Philly's 245 zone-read rush yards were the most in a game in the past five years.

15
Rams (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/stl/st.-louis-rams)
1-0
--

Last Week: 15
Jared Cook didn't catch a pass without fumbling it until inside the second-quarter two-minute warning. However, he caught his last six targets for 94 yards and two TDs.

16
Giants (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/nyg/new-york-giants)
0-1
4
Last Week: 12
David Wilson? Two fumbles. Da'Rel Scott? Poor route led to game-clinching interception. Three 100-yard receivers were nice for Eli Manning, but who's up next at running back?

17
Dolphins (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/mia/miami-dolphins)
1-0
3
Last Week: 20
Miami dialed up the pressure against Brandon Weeden, and it worked. Weeden was 12-of-24 with an interception, but Andrew Luck will likely handle it better in Week 2.

18
Lions (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/det/detroit-lions)
1-0
3
Last Week: 21
The Lions gained 240 yards after the catch, second highest in Matthew Stafford's career. Reggie Bush had a career-high 104 YAC, including a long screen pass TD reception.

19
Redskins (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/wsh/washington-redskins)
0-1
9
Last Week: 10
RG III wasn't great, but what about Alfred Morris? Career-low 45 rushing yards and a first-play fumble hurt. It doesn't get any easier for Washington, which visits Lambeau next.

20
Chiefs (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/kc/kansas-city-chiefs)
1-0
1
Last Week: 19
Alex Smith was one of five quarterbacks with multiple touchdown passes and no interceptions. No defense had more picks in its opener than Week 2 opponent Dallas (three).

21
Vikings (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/min/minnesota-vikings)
0-1
4
Last Week: 17
Christian Ponder was 3-of-6 for 68 yards and two interceptions against at least eight men in the box. Until he improves, stopping Adrian Peterson is all defenses need to worry about.

22
Titans (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ten/tennessee-titans)
1-0
5
Last Week: 27
A win in Pittsburgh was a great start for the Titans. A win at Houston would go a long way toward proving Tennessee is for real.

23
Steelers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/pit/pittsburgh-steelers)
0-1
7
Last Week: 16
Pittsburgh had 15 rushes for 32 yards in the opener, and lost center Maurkice Pouncey and running back LaRod Stephens-Howling with torn ACLs. Not a good start.

24
Panthers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/car/carolina-panthers)
0-1
1
Last Week: 23
Career lows in offense for Cam Newton, but the rush defense looked great. The Seahawks had 26 rush yards after contact, their second-lowest game total since the start of 2011.

25
Cardinals (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ari/arizona-cardinals)
0-1
1
Last Week: 26
Larry Fitzgerald caught a pair of TD passes on end-zone throws in his debut with Carson Palmer. Cardinals QBs were 0-for-9 targeting Fitzgerald in the end zone last year.

26
Chargers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/sd/san-diego-chargers)
0-1
2
Last Week: 24
Philip Rivers was 1-of-7 with a pick-six in the fourth quarter Monday night. Including last year, Rivers' 7.7 fourth-quarter QBR is less than half of any other QB.

27
Jets (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/nyj/new-york-jets)
1-0
5
Last Week: 32
Geno Smith was off target on four of 38 pass attempts (11 percent) in his debut. Mark Sanchez missed on 22 percent of his throws last year, fourth highest among qualified QBs.

28
Buccaneers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/tb/tampa-bay-buccaneers)
0-1
6
Last Week: 22
Avoidable mistakes hurt. Lavonte David's penalty was the biggest, but the Bucs gave the Jets five first downs via penalties, tied for second most by a Tampa defense since 2001.

29
Bills (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/buf/buffalo-bills)
0-1
1
Last Week: 30
Buffalo limited EJ Manuel's movement well in his return from knee surgery. Manuel was 18-for-25 for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns out of the shotgun.

30
Browns (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/cle/cleveland-browns)
0-1
2
Last Week: 28
Brandon Weeden was 11-of-28 with two interceptions on throws 5 yards or fewer downfield. Blaine Gabbert was the only other QB with a completion percentage under 50 percent on short throws.

31
Raiders (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/oak/oakland-raiders)
0-1
--

Last Week: 31
Only LeSean McCoy had more rushing yards than Terrelle Pryor (112) in Week 1, but the loser of Jaguars-Raiders still looks like an early favorite in the Jadeveon Clowney sweepstakes.

32
Jaguars (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/jac/jacksonville-jaguars)
0-1
3
Last Week: 29
The Jaguars' offense didn't cross midfield until the fourth quarter. The Raiders present a chance to get back on track, but Seattle looms in Week 3.

My thought is that they are still underestimating the Eagles. Which isn't making me very happy, as I am a Giants fan.

I heard the Steelers got rated "Yugo"...just sayin!

I'm so sad. It's like the season is over already after week one. Not only did they look horrible, but they lost their center for the year, a linebacker for the year and a running back for the year. The only bright spot was that every other team in our division lost as well, so we're tied for 1st place right now!!

Jim. Remember last year? It was only the First game. You know how things change from week to week. My oldest grandson shares my admiration for the Eagles...and we all know what kind of year they DIDN'T have last year.

Don't give up on your STEELERS. Not yet.

Stranger things DO, and HAVE happened.
