After moving to Charleston, South Carolina last year, Benjamin and Hope Jordan needed to find a baby sitter for their then seven month old son Finn. But after a few months their normally friendly dog became aggressive whenever the sitter was around. The Jordans began to realize their dog might be trying to tell them something.

Babysitter was abusing the young son and the dog's hostility to the babysitter tipped the parents off!!! No other animal on earth is a better friend to people that dogs.. That family dog just may have saved that very young child's life..--Tyr

Our companion animals are wonderful creatures. They are incredibly attuned to our moods and our lives. It is my opinion that a person your pet reacts badly to is never a person you should trust. It appeared their dog was a black lab and they are particularly noted as being very responsive to their families. Good for them for recognizing the dog as being a valid judge of behavior.

Should have realized that when my cat wanted nothing to do with an old boyfriend. She turned out to be a much better judge of character than I.
