I figured, how could you go wrong with a cool spring break movie, with all of the girls, crime, all of the girls, James Franco I think is a great actor & all of the girls. It also comes with a better than average rating from 6 months of reviews on IMDB.

They failed me. I thought the movie sucked. Hudgens and Gomez can't act. They're cute, but that doesn't make for a good movie. Franco did a good job of coming off as a pimp/drug dealer/thug/rapper... but that wasn't enough. The lines were dumb, therefore the acting subpar. The weird effects and zoning in and out of different times didn't work. Neon pink glowing scenes were dumb. Teeny boppers being successful thugs doesn't work. James Franco with grills (jewelry covering his teeth) was annoying as hell.

I honestly can't think of anything positive to report from the flick.

The title alone would have put it on my not to be bothered with list. I am getting ready to watch the Conjuring.

Enjoy, I REALLY enjoyed that one, a damn good horror flick! It actually had me move a little quicker to get out of the darkness when calling it a night after that one.

When a movie can give me the willies I know it's a good one. And that is very rare. No scary movie ever gave me the willies because as a child I had to deal with a real bad spirit that scared me and my older brother for a year. Yes, we both heard it at night and its beating on the walls , even coming to the window asking to be let in. Seems they can not enter the home unless invited in. Anyways , we finally told my Dad what had been going on, this started the first week we had moved into the new house on the farm. He and a deacon from the church went in all the rooms in the house and out in the yard praying and admonishing in the name of Christ to never return . Found that all that stuff out a few years later but my Dad told us three days after we told him about that it would never return and he was right--- we lay awake at night for a couple weeks but nothing , never did return. Certainly gave me a new view on this world. Mom said " if boys weren't so mean tha' devil wouldn't be sending his minions to torment ya in the first place."--:laugh2: True story and do not care who doesn't believe it. -- I just remember had a beautiful girl I dated in the 70's whose mother was a practicing witch . When I broke up with her she told me she had her mom to send spirits to curse me etc. I laughed at her and told her tough shat its been tried before I have my own special body guard. Nothing ever happened ,well, except I ran my 73' Dodge Charger of into a ditch a few days after she told me that, still haven't figured out how and why it zipped over into ditch the way it did. Just felt like a huge wind pushed it.. Dismissed it all and went on with my own hell raising. :laugh:. --Tyr

Just watched it. Very good movie and lots of excitement, but no willies. I actually remember, vaguely, reading something on this case many years ago.
