All by design. It's exactly what Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the more than 50 million Under, Un-educated Obama voters had in mind...and they still have no idea why, or how to explain the destruction of their Own country.

None of it will hit home until....it hits their pocketbooks, wallets, bank accounts, and the U.S. Mail Doesn't arrive with their DEPENDENT check.

The last time the Dems were unrestrained, we got over a trillion in deficit spending and this clusterfuck called Obamacare. You can mark me as voting "not only no, but hell no" on giving them free rein again.

Sure thing bingster. If they get rid of the nutcases in Congress. The Republicans would run UNOPPOSED and take both houses back.

Because YOU say they are nutcases...referring to the Republicans. Is almost as Honest as Obama claiming he's White.

I'm not even asking for a full Democrat majority. I would be happy, at this point, to have a majority at room temperature IQ. Your tea party guys (and gals) are an embarassment to this country and the office they hold. They are not trying to govern, they are trying to tear government down. You guys voted in a bunch of legislative anarchists who are clueless to how governemnt works! They are the Tea Party Kamikazees, and I wish they'd go outside before they fly into a brick wall!

Very funny, bud. The fact of the matter is that your party hates itself. The Baggers don't like the Rino's and vice versa. I actually wouldn't mind a balanced or even split government. I just want it with 2 parties, not three. Actually, if the 3 voted seperately, I wouldn't mind the 3. Fact is, you RINO's are committing suicide voting with your Baggers. Very Stupid.

The increase in spending is down, but the deficit remains a trillion a year. Who gives a shit if the "increase" has decreased? If an area floods 10 feet on day one and 100 feet on day two, do you think everything's peachy when it floods 110 feet on days 3,4, and 5? Only a total moron would praise Obama for spending a ludicrous amount of money during his first year and then hold at ludicrous levels, instead of ludicrous plus some, during the next 4.

BULLSHIT! A trillion dollars in deficit spending EVERY year Obama has been president from his POS "stimulus". Five fucking years and you libtards are still trying to blame Bush.

Are you under the impression that the stimulus was a 5 year 1 trillion/year law? Well, it wasn't! It was only 800 billion and that's spent now. It doesn't account for 5 years of over 1 trillion dollar deficits, genius. Get a calculator. Here's the deal. Every piece of Obama increased spending can be summed up in 2 trillion dollars. I'm including the stimulus, Gm bailout, and spending on Obamacare, so far. Obama came into office with a 9 trillion debt. Debt is up to 17 trillion now. Where is the other 6 trillion? (17-9-2=6). Where is it? Don't say "stimulus" it will make you look like a tea bagger.

It comes from an increased level of spending from 2 wars, Med part d, tax cuts, and a HUGE recession that we are still paying for! Yes, technically, the recession is over, but because of our weak economy, we're still paying a hell of a lot in unemployement, welfare, Medicaid, Food stamps, etc.... That, and a huge dip in revenue in 2008 and 2009, accounts for the other 6 trillion dollars over the last 5 years.

If I'm wrong, if you want to call me a liar, you tell me! Obamaphones? the tea party keeps whining and crying about stuff they don't know anything about. Look at what I wrote and you tell me what "OUT OF CONTROL" spending Obama is guilty for.

Because the government has been funded by CR for the last 5 years, the spending level of 2009 including the extra trillion in stimulus was adopted for subsequent years.

Two wars? A drop in the budgetary bucket. Part D? Has been credited with bending the cost curve (http://phrma.org/part-d-bending-the-medicare-cost-curve) since inception. Huge recession? Weak recovery? Sure, but why is that not attributed to BO and Democrat policies? The Dems took over after the '06 elections essentially eliminating any real options that Bush could have instituted and the weak recovery can IMO be attributed directly to an insistence on tax hikes and regulatory increases that have been enacted since BO took office. What say you?

The last budget approved was in Bush's last year. Since then, no budget has been approved, thus appropriations are done with CRs:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continuing_resolution

Last night, they've got approval until 1/15/14, then it starts all over again:

A continuing resolution is a type of appropriations (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appropriation_bill#United_States) legislation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legislation) which may be used by the United States Congress (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Congress) to continue funding of government agencies if a formal appropriations bill has not been passed by the end of the government fiscal year (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiscal_year#United_States). The continuing resolution takes the form of a joint resolution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_resolution), and may provide bridging funding for existing federal programs at current, reduced, or expanded levels.[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continuing_resolution#cite_note-1)

As you'd maybe expect, this issue is getting coverage around the world .. it's a major story on the BBC's channels, and on all others here, for that matter. After all, had this not been - temporarily ? - resolved, the world's economies would've suffered as well.

So, just as Americans have debated this, so, too, have people in my part of the world.

Here's what I dug up for perusal by a local Leftie ...

http://blog.heritage.org/2012/09/19/obama-dont-worry-about-16-trillion-debt/

.. and the individual concerned in my debates here was silenced by the contents of that link. Quoting from it, in part ....

Is the President keeping score?Letterman: “Now do you remember what that number was [when you walked into office]? Was it $10 trillion? Was it that?”

President: “Ah, I don’t remember what that number was precisely, but.…”
Let’s help the President out with data from the U.S. Department of the Treasury:

When President Obama took office, the total national debt was nearly $10.6 trillion. Today, it’s over $16 trillion. That’s more than a 50 percent increase in the national debt in less than four years.
Debt held by the public was $6.3 trillion on Inauguration Day. Today, that number is about $11.3 trillion. That is an 80 percent increase and sets a new record (http://blog.heritage.org/2012/09/05/morning-bell-16000000000000/).

Not knowing how big the debt was when he took office and not worrying about a level of debt that exceeds the size of the entire U.S. economy does explain why the President’s very own budget (http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2012/02/president-obamas-2013-budget-delivers-tax-hikes-more-spending-more-debt) would have increased spending—while also showering us with more debt and taxes.

In 2008, publicly held debt as a percentage of the economy (GDP) was 40.5 percent, nearly four points below the post-World War II average. Since then, the debt has increased by 45 percent. The President's FY 2013 budget would increase the debt to 76.5 percent by 2022, despite $2 trillion in tax hikes.

PERCENTAGE OF GDP

http://www.heritage.org/federalbudget/charts/2012/obama-budget-debt-560.jpg

The President’s own Office of Management and Budget projects (http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/omb/budget/fy2013/assets/13msr.pdf) that the national debt will rise to over $25 trillion by 2022. Maybe it’s time that the President starts keeping score.

Here's a present for Obama-loving Lefties everywhere ....

Sir Drummond. Thanks for posting that information. And thanks for proving what most of us NON Obama voters knew, long before he managed to fool so many people, and convince them to vote for him.
It's not unusual that most of us knew he was Inept, Only Book Smart, and Mentally speaking...disabled when it comes to common sense, math, and being a grown-up spoiled brat who has never had to work a day in his life.
I could go on. But DP cannot support the massive volumes of DOCUMENTED PROOF needed to verify the total Ignorance, and Stupidity of Obama.
