It’s ironic isn’t it? The left’s chief complaint about the American healthcare system is that it’s “for profit,” but Obamacare will end up forcing non-profit hospitals to either go under or become for-profit institutions themselves.
Interesting, this is one I missed when I went through the legislation. But if the requirements for non-profit are tighter, and in essence Obamacare makes everyone have insurance, then there isn't much charity work to be done by any hospital.
